Hello guys,


Im sorry if this has been already been discussed before. This might be dumb but Im actually worried because its been 3 days since the parcel has been received by USCIS and my checks haven't been cashed. I filed I-130 and I-485 concurrently and sent them via USPS to 31 South Dearborn-3rd Floor, Chicago, IL 60603-5517, instead of USCIS P.O. Box 805887 Chicago, IL 60680-4120. Though when checked on google maps they show the same address, I just wanted to be sure if they both are actually the same address and my process is not delayed.

09/6/2014: AOS/EAD/AP sent (delivered on 09/09/2014)

09/15/2014: NOA1 texts/emails (x3) - Check cashed

09/19/2014: NOA1 hardcopies (x3) received

09/29/2014: Biometrics appointment notice received

10/10/2014: Biometrics

10/27/2014: I 485 Changed to Testing and Interview

11/04/2014: EAD Production

11/12/2014: EAD Delivered

they received it. they have two address one is for united states postal service mail the other one is post office box that's for united parcel and fedx, others parcel carriers. since ups and fedex don't deliver to post office boxes.

Then why is there a delay for the checks to be cashed? I normally see their checks chased on the next day of delivery

It can take up to 30 days for USCIS to cash the cheques and for you to receive any kind of notification.

So for the EAD to arrive do we start counting 90 days from the day its cashed or they day it was delivered

Not necessarily and not always the case. It ranges from case to case. They cashed ours about a week after they received the package.

So for the EAD to arrive do we start counting 90 days from the day its cashed or they day it was delivered

Again, not always the case. Sometimes, people get the interview letter way before the EAD. I've even heard of people getting their EAD in the mail after receiving their green card. It's all on a case by case basis.

Once you send in your package, it all depends on what USCIS does.
