I just noticed we have the same noa2 date..but mine hasnt even been received at nvc ?

Aww, I think that's because you got approved from NSC and I got approved from CSC (got transferred in August). :(NSC takes longer to do everything. I have no idea when mine was shipped to NVC though because my USCIS case status never updated.

CR-1 (Argentina): April 2014 to March 2015.

I will, absolutely.

I do have a checkered past with this embassy. Though I got my visas after my last two experiences, the first AP lasted for one month and the second for 13 months. Hardly a pattern to go by.

Is it true that NVC doesn't give you a third checklist? Once they've issued two checklists, for the third one they ask you to just bring your stuff to the interview?

I'm only thinking out the scenerios in my head, if God forbid I made a mistake on my AOS form for something else. Although I only had the checklist for missing n/a for the address part, and I refilled it based on the scanned copy I had (only updated the n/a part) but what if God forbid I missed something! It'll be our third checklist and would we be allowed to bring it to the embassy instead?

Romii they told me that there was a mistake on my AOS second one and said my husband was to take it to the interview but then the whole thing was a lie. But yes I have heard many say this but I think it's a toss up depends on the person handling your file. I would say most likely but don't be surprised if they say no. :(

I have heard of this and always thought it was the case UNTIL a girl I know just got her third checklist just last week and when she called to ask about bringing it to the interview she was told no. She has contacted her senator since so she is waiting to see if she can still possibly bring it to the interview.

According to the NVC operational guidelines, they're supposed to issue up to two checklists. :thumbs:

However, I also know someone (same person on Facebook?) who got her third checklist so NVC doesn't follow their own operational guidelines all the time. :bonk:

It wasn't a big deal in April since it only delayed your application timeline by a month. :wacko:

Now, it'll delay your application timeline by two months. :dead: Nobody likes to receive a checklist! :unsure:
