Is your hubby willing to call NVC everyday!? :wow: Great hubby!

I wish I had known that! He could have called NVC for me since I'm too impatient to call them. Haha.

Yes his willingly to call NVC everyday if that will get NVC to correct their own fault. It can be really painful and annoying when you send in all the correct documents and some lazy a$$ reviewer finds it difficult to go thru the package and do their job properly. :bonk: :bonk:

I am so sorry for your delay. But goodness you know your stuff and at least stood your ground good for you.

Most applicants in this category can afford and do rely on lawyers to prepare their cases. They would've been totally clueless, alone in such a situation. To be fair, the CO was willing to listen to me and reconsider his conviction.

Thanks romii. It's an employment visa tailored for scientists and artists who could prove they're leading experts in their field, hence it doesn't require a prior job offer and can be self-petitioned... called EB-1A. I had to educate the CO on it to reverse his denial decision on the spot.

Will do...

Ooooo I get it now :dancing: you sure will get it then! They just need to gather more info on it. He might have been a clueless case like myself

Three people got CC on Facebook yesterday! :wow:

No CC on Monday. Three CC yesterday. None so far today. :clock:

NVC has been very mean to people on this thread (especially this week).

Do we know what date they're on? I am hoping they are done with aug 4th at least.

Thank you both so much for your help.

MoBar65: i adjusted status in the US so never had any visa number, just an ARN. I just listed everything. I figure if i'm honest and list everything I can't be accused of misrepresentation.

meg_654: Isn't it just awful having to go through this again? Adjusting status in the US was so much less stressful than this. It sucks having made a home somewhere and then not being permitted to go back without a new visa. I think they need to renew these policies and have different rules for family LPRs compared to LPRs who gain status through employment. But that might just be me!

Thanks again both. I will report back if there are any problems.

I adjusted status from within the hive last time too.... They could certainly streamline the process for the once-processed (so we don't become possessed)....

Trust, but verify!

I called and spoke with Jim, told me to expect a checklist email today or tomorrow. He said the death certificate submitted didn't pass their review. He said I have to get another original, I told him that's the original death certificate. He said he will have to pull the file again and pass it on for a supervisor review. I asked if I can talk to a supervisor he said FOR WHAT? He said I should call back in a week and half.

Am so devastated :crying: :crying: :crying: I couldn't stop crying and he just told me to call back next week. :crying: :crying: :crying:

I know how bad u must be feeling believe me but don't let them bring you down! Just remind yourself it must be over at one point :) I know it's hard to be positive while dealing with their stupid system. But it will be over hopefully sooner than you think

Damnn NVC and their carelessness, just received the checklist email. The time and energy wasted on constructing this email would have been used to check the package and see that what they requested for is right there with them.

Still waiting for the supervisor review. Calling again tonight to see if the supervisor had actually pull the file for review.
