called to check up on my IV fee status and got great news! DS 261 was reviewed two days ago so I should get the fees soon!!! Maybe the sleeping giant is finally awake hahaha

I have a question i asked in the main NVC thread, ill put it here. I asked the rep who should I mark the package attention to, he said whatever is on the AOS sheet, which is attention CMS. But the NVC site shows attention DR with this new process update.

So am a bit confused now. Anyone who just got the IV fees invoiced, what does your document sheet show?

This is from the NVC site

Method 3: Mail processing

If neither Method 1: Email processing nor Method 2: Choice of processing applies to your case, mail your financial forms and evidence, supporting documents, translations, and photocopies, with the Document Cover Sheet included with your NVC Welcome Letter, to the following address:

National Visa Center

Attn: DR

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

Woohoo!!

I was just about to ask if you have yours yet. My invoice was generated 2 days ago but I only received it today. I didn't think it was available at it was still "PAY NOW" in red but when I clicked on it it was billed.

National Visa Center

Attn. CMR

I sent my IV package before I got the fee and I put CMR/DR (civil documents inside).

My package arrived perfectly on Sept 11th.

Now I am waiting for DS260 becomes available. I think by tomorrow. I will submit it then. Will it be my last scan date or the Iv package one?

Ah, thank you for that! Hmm I think I'll just attention DR and include the document cover sheet they emailed a few weeks ago. I'm guessing this is the new process for those that need to submit both together.

Your last scan date will be the IV scan date (:

Your package determines the last can date. Since they took over two months to unlock my IV fees, I ended up sending my package in advance too. They checked my DS-260 with the package, even though I filled out the form almost a month after.

I would advise against that. Since you have a cover sheet for the IV package, please send it to the one listed on the cover sheet. That's just my opinion though.

Hmm that's what I have been wrestling over. I totally agree with your line of thinking. I'll call once more to confirm tomorrow and send it off. The rep also stated to attention whatever was on the bar code sheet.

Thanks!

Hello and welcome!

My signature and timeline should hopefully tell you quite a bit. My case was expedited at USCIS and was approved on July 10th and then it took around a month to submit the first "form" (DS-261) to NVC on Aug 13th. I then paid the AOS fee on Aug 14th and sent my documents the following week. I sent both the AOS and IV documents together and waited from Aug 13th to today to receive the IV fee. Therefore, i've only been at NVC since the end of July. I now need to wait "at least 60 days" from my last scan date (Sep 3rd) before a checklist or case complete.

I hope that helps somewhat.

Best wishes!

Nice one :D I don't think I'd be happy if someone was waiting over 70 days, it'd be best if I remain the super-awesome-mega-invoice-waiter. Where do I get my trophy? :D

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Am i reading this correctly….the scan dates right now are of July 25-28, where people are getting either case completes or checklists. So does this mean NVC is ahead of its 60 days schedule :dancing: Because shouldn't they be on July 17 cases….?? Not complaining…i am just amazed NVC is getting its groove on….. :star: . Hopefully this is a more permanent thing and not just a fluke :alien:
