Did you include original Urdu Nikah Nama and original English translation of Urdu Nikah Nama in your IV package or just the original NADRA marriage certificate?

Yes I had both. They said they don't see the nikah nama and have the nadra one. I said I sent both. Now I'm waiting. InshAllah they find it.

I will be praying they get to see the original where ever the reviewer must have dropped it. Fingers crossed for you.

Why do they keep giving u this mini heart attack about AOS. I remember they gave u confusing answer before as well! Well I think today is ur day ;)

My husband forgot to mark one stupid tiny military question as 'no'. It's so frustrating to wait 2 months for this minor issue.

11/05/2014 - Letter sent to NVC requesting them to disregard checking/savings account.

11/13/2014 - AOS Checklist scan date.

01/07/2015 - Case Complete!!!

01/15/2015 - Interview scheduled for Feb 9!

02/09/2015 - Interview - APPROVED! :dancing:

02/10/2015 - Visa Issued

02/12/2015 - Visa handed over to courier

Thank you so much guys! You all are the true support I have cuz none of my friends are even interested in my life and nor do they understand the struggle. Their only answer is "why don't you just wait patiently and see?" Well if it was that simple then why would I bother getting stressed over it all. People who go through this can truly understand the agony.

I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor, luckily one was available, I think his name was ike or that's what I understood it to be. He said he would look through my file again, he said he only sees a copy of it and not the original but I explained that I had attached both of them together. I wrote the case number and name on the copy and attached it to the original. It doesn't make sense for them to lose one and have the other. He said he will take a look and let me know by the end of this week. He said if I don't hear back, then I should call back. I'll wait out a couple of days and then call.

InshAllah they'll be able to find it. Good luck you guys! I honestly wish no one going through this process to receive a checklist. Thank you soooooo much for all your support!!

Good luck, I hope the supervisor should be able to find it if they pull your file out. This happened to me with my checklist response. After 71 days they found it was there all along!

Congraaaaaats to all the CC today!!!! OMG it's so good to get home from a long day and read all those great news!!! I'm really excited for all of you!!

I've seen someone also got an expedite, that's awesome!!

And for the checklists ones, just a hope: it might not take 60 days soon...it really seems like they're hurrying up..soo...faith!!!

Prayers for us, who are still stuck in the hell hole called NVC.

I am a long time reader of VJ. I register to confirm that NVC processes to the scan date july 25th.

My last scan date July 25th and my AOS paid status changed to 'N/A' today.

Hi eoc4ever, I just got expedited to the embassy, I can't believe it. my sis did an expedite on my behalf, because my daughter has not been doing to good (health wise). NVC is going to send my docs to Lagos asap. Yipeeee!!!

Wonderful... glad it's not one of their cruel "after-document-review" expedites. I hope your daughter will get better just from hearing the good news.

Just got off the phone with my husband. I cried my heart out after finding out we got a checklist because I filled in part 3. ITS JUST EXTRA INFO NVC..... Now, my husband is so mad , I could since his rudeness on the phone over the frustration of this. I said I love you, he just said goodnight - so he blame me for this even though he is not saying it. I said, I will come visit before then, he said - its not necessary!!! NVC is killing me.

Dear Goldalone...

NVC has a lot to answer for lately. I'm sure your husband is just as frustrated as you are... just let him blow some steam, think nothing of it, and be there for each other. You two will be doing a lot of that in the future, just like any other healthy marriage.

Hahaha hi doll, did that because this smuck made a big deal about us congratulating and just talking about stuff so when he posted that it kind of pissed me off since he doesn't seem to think it pertains to him. :D

Haha - I talked to the NVC yesterday and they told me to wait 30 days since they've just received our case from the USCIS - I just told her very *jokingly* soooo I will talk to you next week??

She didn't seem amused...

However what she doesn't realize is that I'm not waiting for a postage to Europe - especially not from France...half the time the buggers are always on strike for something! (And I have tons of French friends who agree ~ No disrespect!) :rofl:

They are never amused one of the job requirements is to not have a sense of humor. :D

Just got off the phone with my husband. I cried my heart out after finding out we got a checklist because I filled in part 3. ITS JUST EXTRA INFO NVC..... Now, my husband is so mad , I could since his rudeness on the phone over the frustration of this. I said I love you, he just said goodnight - so he blame me for this even though he is not saying it. I said, I will come visit before then, he said - its not necessary!!! NVC is killing me.

So sorry to hear about the checklist :(

You received a checklist on AOS? Did you submit I864EZ? You forgot to fill in part 3 or you did fill in part 3 and received checklist for providing additional info? Can you please specify which question for part 3?

Hi eoc4ever, I just got expedited to the embassy, I can't believe it. my sis did an expedite on my behalf, because my daughter has not been doing to good (health wise). NVC is going to send my docs to Lagos asap. Yipeeee!!!
