Thank you so much guys! You all are the true support I have cuz none of my friends are even interested in my life and nor do they understand the struggle. Their only answer is "why don't you just wait patiently and see?" Well if it was that simple then why would I bother getting stressed over it all. People who go through this can truly understand the agony.

I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor, luckily one was available, I think his name was ike or that's what I understood it to be. He said he would look through my file again, he said he only sees a copy of it and not the original but I explained that I had attached both of them together. I wrote the case number and name on the copy and attached it to the original. It doesn't make sense for them to lose one and have the other. He said he will take a look and let me know by the end of this week. He said if I don't hear back, then I should call back. I'll wait out a couple of days and then call.

InshAllah they'll be able to find it. Good luck you guys! I honestly wish no one going through this process to receive a checklist. Thank you soooooo much for all your support!!

You have done NOTHING wrong. It is them. Do not start thinking that way. I kept saying to myself if only I had tried to get my Police Certificate sooner this could be over but I had no idea Singapore had changed their process and didn't need the checklist anymore to issue the Certificate. They still had old information on the website.

Just get your document off by Fed Ex today and get that clock ticking. You never know you could still make a December interview. We will go through this together and you will make it. Just know that you have friends here to go through it with you.

Thanks MSC, you help me a lot... I am trying to see the positive side and keep strong. Thanks God I had a wonderful husband and family in usa, they are helping me and support me a lot. I really hope I could be with my husband before Christmas, people say I can have cc faster because it is only a paper, I think I only see two cases with civil checklist and it was fast but i dont know, what do you think? and what was your experience?

I just called and they have reviewed my IV package but they are saying I didn't provide my original marriage certificate...when I did!

Where am I suppose to get another original from? :cry: :cry:

Did you include original Urdu Nikah Nama and original English translation of Urdu Nikah Nama in your IV package or just the original NADRA marriage certificate?

You can open the picture in MS Paint then hit Resize to compress it. Make sure you keep the original safe though.

I'm yet to receive any letters from USCIS or NVC, courtesy of the dysfunctional Kuwait postal service.

That could be a two-edged sword... what if someone gets nasty or uses inappropriate language? But then... I did use Morse code once on VJ.

I just don't want anyone to get in trouble for posting in their own language but I don't think the Mods are going to listen to me hahahahaa, I'm nutting to them.

OMG I called NVC and the lady told me (couldn't understand her when it came to her name heavy accent) that they need information on my AOS that they can't go any further with my case until they received it. I was about to burst out crying when I somehow collected myself and said but Don told me twice that my last AOS was accepted and the last package arrived July 24 Th which are the documents not the AOS. She was very kind and said let me ask a supervisor then after 15 minutes came back and said ok we don't need anything your AOS was accepted and your IV documents are waiting to be reviewed. I'm so happy that I can accept it taking a bit longer to get this done with. What a nightmare this has been God willing they will accept the documents and not lose any of them.

It's not specific - since I am no where near the checklist scare - so hopefully others can chime in details that will help make it specific.

I know right if I had heart problems which I just might now with all of this I would be dead by now. I'm just praying they don't mess up my IV package but it wont be easy I stamped each page with my case number in black huge block numbers with my trusty stamp. hahahaa but then they always find a way.
