I too am going through the green card process again because my time outside of the US was not beyond my control (despite studying on a federal student loan and filing taxes). It is a horrible feeling being kept out of the country one has made home. I hope things hurry along for you.

I hope things speed up for you!!!! Truly there is an end to this agony.

Well, this is the opposite of a rant, but since most of my favorite VJers are here I wanted to share:

CASE COMPLETE!!!!! I am in shock right now; I can't even believe it. Thank you all so much for everything.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Will be praying your dear mother will be home for baby number two and my heart felt congratulations. :Dpeeing-baby.gifcrying-baby-smiley-emoticon.gif

I wonder if NVC is working today because there's no movement with case files today. Soloenta any change on your CEAC? Any N/A? I know you and Austine is next.

:( I just checked and as usual nothing from NVC smiley-gen121.gif I'm thinking I have 12 more days to go if it takes the full 60 days. I hope not but who really knows for sure. I don't drink never have but it's times like this I would love to get drunk smiley-gen137.gif

I wonder if this will make it faster or slower? They have a period to ajust to the new work and system not sure if it's a good thing but we shall soon see. :) Thank you so much for the information. :)(F) (L) (F)

Yeah, I guess we can only see. My gut instinct tells me it's a good thing -- which is weird because I never think positively. The contractor also won a USCIS contract so they seem to be speeding up.

Fingers crossed. You need to hurry up and receive your case complete!!

I am dying for a December interview but that is probably impossible unless NVC really speeds up. :ranting:

Much love.

Ok here goes.. on the 864ez I'd like to avoid chk lists. Can anyone help ?

Can I leave Info on preparer blank since it was prepared by myself ? Or do NA?

He has no middle name or postal code can I leave blank or do NA

Name of second employer for me- na or blank

Lastly, just double chking

I did NOT file 1040ez so I WILL be using my total income not AGI or W2 income (think it's line 22 on taxes can't recall) correct?

Thanks in advance :)

Ps. I will sign in black ink

Pls. For some reason when I click box 19 that I filed taxes the optional button underneath for sending in prior two yrs automatically chks too. Any idea why? And since they want this thing typed, I'm not sure if I should leave it blank while filling it out and then after printing it use a pen to mark in the one box or what?

I'm Not sending the extra years

Common NVC finish up with more july packages before the end of today. Today is not yet over, you might still get a CC.

Hi samreen23, I really felt your pain during uscis stage. I was as frustrated and depressed as you waiting for that dreadful approval. I felt bad, for us soleonta included. I am kind of surprised that someone who was part of that uscis thread has now turned on the same people, who were a great support to her. Wow!, Anyways I am so glad you got a job to keep you busy. We both got checklisted, I am sorry about that. We both should get case complete at the same time, by God's grace. I was just thinking how many checklists can nvc issue before sending to embassy.

I hear that you get up to two checklists. :dead:

If you get your third checklist, NVC lets you bring your checklist document to the embassy/consulate. :star:

Received and paid IV Fee: 9/8/14 (fee showing paid / DS-260 available 9/9/14)
Submitted DS-260: 9/11/14
Sent IV packet: 9/24/14
NVC Received 9/26/14

Arrived in US: 3/8/14

STILL HAPPY AND NORMAL AS OF 8/4/2016!!

AOS Approved per phone: 10/22/14
*Received what I thought was a false checklist on this date as well*

*Problems: Called on 10/27/14 11/5/14 and 11/20/14 just to be proactive On all of these dates except the last, NVC kept telling me that my IV document probably hadn't been reviewed yet. On 11/20 the representative told me that the BC needed to be inextensa and the marriage license. True enough I had sent an extracto. But requested a supervisor review bc I knew the marriage lic was inextensa. 2 days later called again and got the same supervisor who told me that the marriage lic needed the proper signed legalizada (sticker on the back)

Sent necessary documents/Received: 11/20/14 and 11/26/14

Called 12/15/14: got Arthur....after he checked and verbally spanked he sent me to supervisor Silvia who said she would pull my file and try to figure it out.

Case complete: 12/19/14 Sylvia called and left a voicemail, called and confirmed later that night and status changed to N/A.

Thank you so much Sylvia. May God bless you and your family.

Appointment date and time received: 12/27/14

***FAST FORWARD***

APPT complete/Visa approved: 2/5/2015
