Ebu70 I read ur comment but I was catching up on the thread so I can't quote it back! Thank you! For understanding. And yes only us who got stuck at both stages can understand and really know what we went through. On the bright side we are almost done. It's time to wake up from the nightmare soon! :luv:

Hi samreen23, I really felt your pain during uscis stage. I was as frustrated and depressed as you waiting for that dreadful approval. I felt bad, for us soleonta included. I am kind of surprised that someone who was part of that uscis thread has now turned on the same people, who were a great support to her. Wow!, Anyways I am so glad you got a job to keep you busy. We both got checklisted, I am sorry about that. We both should get case complete at the same time, by God's grace. I was just thinking how many checklists can nvc issue before sending to embassy.

Word to Big Bird Samreen! Soloenta you have always been such a wonderful positive part of my VJ experience and the BIG FONTS and lovely emoticons just made me feel like I was getting a big hug and a high five from a good friend! I also love how you reassure people that someone will answer their question soon if they are patient. It's awesome and shows how much compassion you have for all of us here!

And as a nurse, I can say I wouldn't be anywhere without my RTs! Lord save me from an alarming vent I don't know how to fix!!! And for bagging a patient properly instead of me fumbling around! I wish we could work together! Come on up to Seattle!!!

I absolutely agree with you about Soloenta :goofy:

What state do you come from.? Men I am so sick of rain and power outages. I have not been to my hometown in 28 years. I home now watching dstv, later I would go to shoprite ikeja. hahahaha. what airline are you planning on using back to the states? I am using delta, non-stop to Atlanta baby, then lax.

It's not really moral support but it might be interesting insight to some. I received a response from the AskNVC address (I had sent it a couple of weeks ago to the old address) and the person who responded is from FCi Federal and is apparently a "support contractor". I just checked out their website and they won a contract with NVC in April.

Am from Osun state, it feels so good meeting up with distance relatives and getting to know more about my state. {My family is based in Lagos but we hardly go to our home town}.

:wow: :wow: Shoprite in Ikeja :wow: parents inlaw's house is just right beside Shoprite, wish I was in Lagos, would have hook up with you. I used to live with parent's inlaw all thru the beginning of this year till May ending when she left for U.S.

** Am planning to use US airways or British airways with a stop over in UK and then straight to Washington/Baltimore since our home is at Maryland.

Oh that's cool, osun just had their election in august. Great turn out, I am from Edo but I have not been there since 1986. Yeah it would have been nice to meet, anyways I have been so bored in Lagos, nothing to do. Sometimes it feels strange, I have not lived in Nigeria for almost 28 years, it still feels strange to me. I have gradually adapted. I practically live at shoprite mall, always going there. I kinda knew you will go through Europe to reach your Poe destination. Edited by Ebu70

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH you reminded me, I have to start my diet this week Sunday OMG you guys will have to help me, it's such a comfort and now :( bye bye french fries hahahaaa.

I really hope my business picks up when I get to the states. Thanks for your support. oh I always wanted to go to TJ for their beautiful silver jewelry, but never had the time. Although I am planning on going to Arizona to the Navajo reservation. They make fantastic turquoise silver jewelry. My daughter says cats can be creepy. lol. Because of the way they stare at her. I don' t mind cats especially kittens. I would not mind going to Canada again, but my kid would rather go to Japan. She is an anime/ manga fanatic.

Really don't waste your time buy the silver in Arizona they wont rip you off and you know what your getting if you want a few good pieces if you don't care then TJ is good. :D

what the F.. is going on on the september thread..... Geeeeezzzzzzzzz.

Just called NVC twice, first Rep sounded very sleepy and she informed me that my case has not been reviewed yet and gave me the 60 day speech, I didn't even bother asking her anymore questions because she just sounded so so so sleeeeeepy lol I called again because I'm so anxious for a CC and waiting another weekend for NVC is frustrating!! So JOY was not nice whatsoever, I didn't get to ask her about my case when she was already telling me that I need to let 60 days pass by, that I will get notified by email. I said OK, and asked if she knew once they got to my case how long it takes foe NVC to review packets, on average. She said "I said 60 days!!" Her tone bothered me and I explained to her that I was not asking how long it would take for them to get to my case but how long they actually take reviewing the packets, she said she didn't know. I asked what case they're working on, she said she didn't know, I told her another Rep yesterday let me know what case NVC was on, she said that must have been a special kind of Rep because she does not have access to that info... ugh!!! :( 52 days & counting... scan date 07/22--- so sad guys
