Hey guys does anyone know what scan dates are being looked through for AOS. I sent my AOS checklist response 7/29/2012

today marks "60 days" but I didnt receive any notification,

I believe NVC is reviewing packages they scanned on Aug 5-6.

I suggest that you call NVC to find out what's going on (if you haven't called them yet).

So strangely enough I woke up to find a lot of cc on fb! 2 for aug 6 and one guy was going EP and his last scan was sept 12! I m happy for them but this is just so unfair. They should have allowed EP for everybody really, otherwise atleast process checklists faster! Morons!

So I chose to send my packages by mail (instead of emailing them).

EP began speeding up at the end of July. I believe it's because more people (like myself) chose not to do EP because it was slower.

Now it's so much faster because they have just begun reviewing both packages together AND the system allows them to find the other email (usually IV email) by doing a simple case number search.

I'm not sure if they have a bar-code system to identify checklist documents if you send your documents by mail. It doesn't even differentiate the AOS or IV package since the bar-code is just your case number.

Of course, they can implement a different bar-code system to identify a checklist document. Needless to say, they're probably too "busy" (lazy) to do so.

Exactly. And that's y I called them morons. This is the stupidest and the most useless stage In the immigration process which should not even excist yet after spending 10.5 months and Uscis I m about to join the 6th thread for Nvc. I have no words to explain my feelings really.

That's why I had to leave the other NVC thread because I was there too long! I could no longer take it.

I don't even know half the people who are currently on the other NVC thread because I was becoming an old-timer there.

I have to so much to do I actually let the PC run and I come by read any new post and answer when I can. I do beading also take care of my cats and little Pom.

If they r sooo busy then plz take over this process to our self we handle it very fast n smoothly even they dnt feel any burden in processing just give us authority to process it

Totally agree. Took them 5 months to collect my papers and send them to the embassy, when said embassy is only one mile from me, door to door, with entire embassy grounds in between. I could've probably made paper planes out of my civil documents and landed them into the embassy grounds from my roof.

OMG what did I miss, thought I had read everything! Girl we're going to have to send you some mattresses to put on the floor around your bed. Or have one of those baby walkers made but for adults you know the ones the baby sits in and runs around hahahaha. Would love to see that. This is as close to one that I could fine.

Oh that has made me laugh. I have had a 'me' day today. First I spent two hours in the hairdressers, home for a quick lunch and then we all went to the hospital to have my cast off. Hooray. I have two arms again although the one that was broken is still very painful. Have lots of exercises to do and hopefully it won't be long before I am back to normal. Well, I wasn't normal in the first place but back to my old self!!!!!

Thank you so much sweetness. I know, I saw a post saying the same thing about another supervisor and I think Mondays is the day they have meetings. But I left messages for her two days in a row and I never received a response. I'm starting to get really paranoid now.

NVC is done with July packages. l think you should give NVC a call to ask of the status.

Yea you are right, lt will save them all this backlog. They will just click and review all the packages together.
