The telephone appointment, I assume, is to work out what shots I need, even though I have already told them exactly what I need. Apparently, that's how they do it at my local surgery. Or maybe they have a magical way of doing them through the phone line? Haha

I'll keep you posted. I don't really fancy getting everything after the medical. Sounds like lots of hassle and even more money to me...

I am going through the same issue. I have had my MMR shots when I was a kid, but since that was in Australia, and the doctor who did it is now dead, there is buckley's chance of me getting the record for it. So now I have to pay for the MMR shot (even at my local NHS GP) to have my MMR shot. however I am assuming it will be far cheaper than Knightsbridge. Hold off on your medical or get Knights bridge to hold off on sending your results until the shots are done. It is a little extra time now, but it will save you a lot of time and effort later on.

Yeah the reason I got my MMR for free is my record showed that I had separate measles jabs and a single rubella shot but no mumps shot so they classed me as having been missed due to outdated nhs policy of my local nhs trust.

I'm leaving next week and have my vaccination history and chest x-ray CD ready to go with me. I'm just having a last minute panic now as the envelope the CD is in has been opened, yet there is still tape across the flap. There are two staples through the top of the envelope too but they have gone through the one side so that the envelope remains open still. Is this going to be a problem? (by the way, I did not open the envelope myself)>

Also, am I good to go with the vaccinations as they appear on my worksheet or am I going to have to get my Td and IPV again prior to transcribing my results?:

Your immunization sheet is very complete and you don't need to see a civil surgeon. The DS-3025 clears you on immunizations. IPV Polio is not even an adult requirement so not an issue or even needed on the form.

The chest X-Ray is your souvenir. Nobody in immigration will look at it again. Knightsbridge has no need to keep your records, nor will the embassy so they hand it back to you. Your TB clearance is noted on your Medical forms that are inside the white envelope you turn over at POE. Use the CD as a coaster or Christmas tree ornament.

Also, I saw your other thread earlier, but didn't get to answer it yet. Your email saying the petition was approved is sufficient since you didn't chase down your NOA2 yet. Your A number is assigned with the petition approval and is on the NOA2. The officer at POE might write it in where he stamps your visa. "A" followed by 9 digits. It also appears on my husbands London issued visa--"A" followed by 9 digits in black type. Your visa number is the red number. Check yours and see if they still put A-numbers on the visa in London.

Here's my AOS LIST to help you organize the next part.

Once again you have saved me a lot of stress and worry, Nick. Thank you so much. I shall definitely make good coaster use of the CD!

I've actually been trying to find information regarding who, specifically, to contact in order to get my NOA2 re-sent, but am not having much joy. It seems stupid in the first place as the USCIS obviously know my petition has been approved as they approved it, and I wouldn't have reached the AOS stage had it not been...

I would feel infinitely better if I did have a copy to use with my AOS package, but I'm certainly not willing -- or currently able -- to fork out a further $405 for something so seemingly trivial.

Oh, I do have an Alien# afterall. It's on there underneath the word 'Annotation' oddly enough, which is where my confusion was coming from. Thanks again.

And, thank you for the AO list. I'll be sure to read over it shortly.

Super list. I'd actually gone over all of that last night and made an almost identical checklist, albeit a lot cruder and in sloppy hand-writing. Might be worth pinning it in the AOS forum if it's not already been done, as it's invaluable and certainly makes everything seem a lot more manageable when set out as it is.

Thanks for all your help once again.

I have read several accounts (many really) of people without the NOA2 who didn't have to get a copy of it. Unfortunately I don't bookmark everything and can't point you to threads.

I'm not Nick. I am Nich the female. And that's not really our names and it's a totally stupid user name that popped into my head because my little neighbor had been singing "Nick-Nack paddy whack give a dog a bone..." (Pronounced Nick Nick) So now you know. I always use stupid names when I have to sign Into forums.
