I have a quick question:

Are forms that are filled out using a black/blue pen acceptable by USCIS?

I think it is black ink but usually the form you are filling out will tell you somewhere in the directions.

Betty used a black pen for her G325a and we had no problems.

The instructions on the I129F anyway (dunno about the G325a) say to use black ink, although some people say that you should sign everything in blue so that it doesn't look photocopied *shrug*. You can also just type into the PDF and print out the typed version. For the G325a this is a lot easier because then you don't manually have to fill out all four pages.

That's what I would reccommend - the whole immigration process is annoying enough even without having to correct spelling mistakes later.
