We're still waiting almost 8 months and the USCIS said "security checks".

I think they use those 2 words just to hide a backlog and the delay of time.

I just don't understand why they say they follow the order of arrival of the cases and i see a lot of ppl from same Service Center already all set!

Keep patient, will come our turn!

Feb 12, 2014 I-130 Initial review

Are those security check on the sponsor? the American spouse? I mean... dam! this whole thing is freaking me out... and there is no way to know exactly what is wrong with our case?

The checks are on both.

And there is nothing wrong with it.

I think it is also an excuse just to hide delay of time and backlog.

Be patient and wait, I know it's a waste of time, but there is nothing to do.

Now a senator of my State is taking care about it as well.

I hope this will help the case.

Good luck bud.

I honestly don't understand why you are still waiting. I am not going to delay a single day - if my petition is not approved until November 9th, when is our 5 months term ends - I am sending letters to the senator and the congressman right away! Calling USCIS? Forget it! Their phone servicse is totally useless, they simply read for you the contents of their webpage about the status of your case and can't answer any questions.
