We have an approved I 130 and now we have decided to apply for adjustment of status. We are on a time crunch as my husbands ESTA runs out Oct 4. Do you send the medical exam and police records with the I 485? My husband has no police record. No arrests or violations to report. Do we still send one? I spoke to a lawyer that said no, but the form instructions seem to say other wise.

You send the I-693 medical exam with the packet. Since he has no criminal record then you have nothing to provide there.

heu, anybody can tell that they have no arrest, no violations. You need to provide a police record.

You have to provide A police record, whatever is on it or not, is up to USCIS or another entity to make their decision.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Yes, send in the Form I693 with Form I485. Just ensure the I693 is in a SEALED envelope. The civic surgeon will, or should, provide two copies, 1 for your records and the other in a sealed envelope that you send with Form I485. And no police report needed if there is no record.
