Green Card Arrived - Category CU6????

So I finally got my Green Card in the mail but it has category CU6 on it??

I have searched and anything I can find that mentions CU6 and USCIS in the same webpage relates it to Cuban category code.

If that's correct, then the green card they sent me is wrong. I say this because I'm not Cuban, never been Cuba, my wife is not Cuban and I don't think I've ever had the pleasure of meeting anyone from Cuba.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what category CU6 means if it's not the Cuban thing?

Background if it matters. British Passport - K1 Visa (London) - Arrived and married in Chicago - Adjustment of status etc - Green Card.

It sounds like a mistake. You will probably have to file an I-90 to get it resolved, although there will be no fee since it is a USCIS error.

I don't think you need to do anything. You are not supposed to know the codes, you only need to have checked your name and birthdate and things like that for accuracy. They can and will resolve it, if it is a problem, when you do ROC.

I called USCIS to ask and got a 'I don't know but you can schedule an appointment at a USCIS office and they should know'.

Not very helpful if they don't know what the category is and i dont whether it has any conditions, without having to schedule an appointment that I don't even know is necessary.

As harpa suggests I might just leave it as is until advised otherwise.

I would suggest that kicking the can down the road is not the best approach, but it's ultimately up to you.
