Just curious how long it's taking folks to get their green cards we filed 3 months ago?

All we also filed for employment authorization and travel document all we have is the 1st NOA on all three.

How soon should I start bugging them... Nebraska shows 4 months to green card.... hmm.

It took my wife about two months to get her EAD/AP combo card, and around three and a half months to get approved for her green card. We got lucky I guess, because we got approved without having an inteview at our local USCIS office.

Yes, my wife's brother is getting married Dec. 12th..... while I used up all my vacation this year...two trips to vietnam.. She really should attend! I am thinking we should at least push for her travel documents.

If your application ( EAD/AP) is pending more than 75 days from the date filing, then you can submit the e-request based on approach processing time ( not due to financial loss).

I-485 is dependent on whether you have interview or interview waiver.It is also dependent on local office backlog. People usually get green card faster if they got interview ( assumed that we got approved at interview day). Interview waiver is waiting process and it can take up to one year.

Did you receive biometric appointment? If you had done biometric, then you can submit expediated request for EAD/AP.

You need to call USCIS as soon as possible and I would make an INFOPASS appointment. The biometric appointment is usually one month after you file. The biometric letter could be lost by USPS.

You don't want to get denied for all your applications due the fact you missed biometric appointment ( I know it is not your fault ). This problem did happen to many people in VJ's forum.

I guess the interview waiver could take up to a year for approval, but I think it is usually quicker than that. In our case we got the letter of a potential waiver of interview, and in less than two weeks we received my wifes green card in the mail. So less than four months from the day we sent the AOS paperwork to the day we got her greencard. So, I don’t totally agree with your comment about people that have an actual interview get their greencard faster. But then again every case is different and I guess none of us know how quick the USCIS will get to the case, so maybe it might take up to a year, but I hope it is faster for you guys.

Of course, potential interview waiver could take up to 1 year for approval. It is hard to believe that people get GC faster if they got selected to be interview than interview waiver. You can ask anybody in this forum and I bet you that the answer will be the same for now day ( It could be true in the past but not now).

It has been 6 months from the filling date and 2 months after receive potential interview waiver letter. I continue waiting to get approved much like others. People got interviewed between 2-6 months after filing date ( not true for all cases because some local offices are busy), and if they get approved on spot, then they will receive GC much faster than interview waiver.

In other hand, I received interview waiver letter which states that the delay to be approximately 6 more months from the date of this letter. This letter usually receives 3 months after the date of filing. The total time could be 3 months+ 6 more months to get GC. Note that some people might get approved faster than 6 months that USCIS claimed but other people had waited more than 6 months after receiving potential interview waiver letter.

Ok so I called them and did a service requisition and they gave me a referral number took a lot of info about our case and said we should hear from the Nebraska service center soon but as much as 30 days....

ok so for the I485...Acceptance

for the I765 and I131 ...Initial review..

We filled out the E notification thing and the only and last texts we got was on June 4th....

We got a written response on the I 485 delay and it was titled potential interview waiver. and goes into not needing a waiver but 6 months delay....and no mention of biometrics appointment.....and no mention of the travel documents or work.....Linh is now afraid to travel without a green card even with travel documents because many airports and not properly understanding travel documents.... poor her this really sucks for her. Cant work, can't drive, She passed the driving school stuff but cannot test with the state until she gets a green card. If there is a way of getting her a Louisiana driving license at least she can go to the mall and spend money even if she cannot earn it Lol.
