EXPEDITED CASE - AOS & IV PACKAGES SENT TO NVC

Hello Everyone,

So I was wondering if ANYONE could shed some light on the issue I am having...

While awaiting for an answer from NVC on my expedite, one of the reps I talked to instructed me to send the AOS and IV packages asap; which I did.

After a few days, my expedite was accepted by the embassy, and when I asked about my packages, they told me that I shouldn't have send them because they cant go through all the cases they have to just find my papers....That I had to wait 60 days for them to send me back the documents, and that I should wait for the embassy to contact me because the NVC wasn't responsible for my case anymore.

I read another case in this forum, where they told the person they couldn't process their expedite without the AOS and IV packages, so they had to send them to the NVC.

Did the NVC send my papers to the embassy? do I need to get new papers for the interview?

Has anyone been through this? or heard about a similar situation?

The embassy finally got my case today. They sent me packet 4... which says that my husband doesnt have to present the AOS package if it was sent to the NVC... but what about the IV package?

I emailed them back asking about this, but I probably wont hear from them right away.

Can anyone please help me?
