Hello All,

I am a newbie and thought I understood this process but now find my self very confused. As a K-1 visa is there 2 visa fees of $265 each needed one going to NVC

and then later one going to local embassy in my case Nairobi Kenya? Please advise i am so scared and confused of realizing i could have to pay double

especially since i will be paying for my fiance and her son...which equals $265 X 4.....

.thank you, Ricciardo

p.s. please someone respond thanks

Hello!! You pay the 129f fee when you file and then you will need to pay the 265 to the consulate, no NVC fee.

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

These are some costs to keep in mind

340 for 129f

265 new fee for k1 at the us consulate in beneficiary's country

About 220 for medical exams

1070 for adjustment of status once you get married in the US

I am replying from my phone, but someone should be able to help you with the links
