They stopped plowing the side streets in Detroit way back in the 70s or 80s. I can't remember exactly when. They didn't have the money for it, simple as that. However, when you crossed Telegraph or 8 Mile in to the suburbs, voila the side streets were plowed. One city had money for plowing, the other didn't. No real hidden racial agenda there. Ohh and the mayor himself was black from 1974 onwards.

Yep, nothing racial about that.

Well your premise throughout this thread has been that cities don't plow black neighborhoods. My point is if the guy running the city is black, why would he allow these racist snow plowing policies to stand? Maybe it's not a racial thing. Maybe it's a fiscal thing. Not everything is about race ya know.

Could be. Doesn't let you off the hook. I'll find something to protest about after lunch.

Here's one for ya Marv. I keep my colored socks in a separate drawer than my white socks. :o

Oh hell no! I'm on my way right now to protest you. Calling Al and Jesse to get the jet ready. Wheels up in 30.

You lucky it's Wednesday, you'll only get 2 protest days out of me since I refuse to rage on the weekend.

So I've been told. I've got a bad case of the old.

In your defense I must say that admitting to the problem is already the first step... You're not without hope!

FWIW, my white socks are typically just for work. We have to wear steel toes. The black socks are for running or miscellaneous. I typically avoid socks in general when possible.

So the black socks aren't good enough for work huh? Keep digging that hole...
