Brooklyn women tired of 'white people moving into the area' force tenants out at gunpoint

Two women were arrested after they robbed and then intimidated three tenants out of their Brooklyn apartment — and the crime was partly motivated by race and class resentment, law enforcement sources said.

Precious Parker, 30, and Sabrina James, 23, knocked on the door of an apartment building on Ocean Ave. near Newkirk Ave. in Flatbush at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday and held a 34-year-old man, a 37-year-old man, and a 25-year-old woman at gunpoint demanding they move out or be killed, police said.

...

The terrified residents left soon after, said a night porter, who declined to give his name.

“They just left,” he said. “They said somebody wants to kill them.”

Glad the cops locked them up. Stupid is as stupid does...

So white people should not move into black community areas? :huh2:

Segregation is the best?

Its not an issue of race per say. I bet even in this case it was rising cost of living.

In the mission district, businesses have been attacked that cater to tech because its tied to cost of living changes. On surface it looks like Latino's attacking whites.

I'll provide the context for this one.

The complaint is, when white people move into black areas, the services come back and the neighborhood improves. The issue with this is two-fold:

1. Why aren't the services there before? The people living there are paying taxes all the same, yet their trash isn't picked up daily, nor are the streets cleaned, nor a heavy police prescience. But when an influx of white people come in, these things get fixed.

2. When the former happens, the property value goes up. Now the folks that have been living there can't afford the rent. They have to move to a lower class neighborhood.

I'm all for unity, but people should be treated as equals, no matter what the color is.

I'm glad to hear you say that. I'll be saving this one for later.

Keep a copy. When I go for my civil activist job, I might need a character reference. :goofy:

Brooklyn is geting to be the new Manhattan, even the Hipsters cannot afford it.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

Yeah I don't think it works that way. No one owns anything unless they own it, ya know?
