Hello vj members,

I have a couple of questions regarding I864ez.

Section 19 starts with a checkbox for (I have filed a Federal Tax return for each of the three most recent tax years. I have attached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only the most recent tax year.

and then towards the end of the section there is another checkbox that says (Optional) I have attached photocopies or transcripts of my Federal tax returns for my second and third most recent tax years.

I understand that if you are including the transcript for only the most recent tax year, you check the checkbox in the beginning and if you are including the transcript for the second and third most recent tax years you check the checkbox at the end. Am I right? or do I check both checkboxes if I am including the tax transcript for the most recent tax year plus the second and third most recent tax year.

Check off both boxes. Send your transcripts for the last 3 as well as W2s.

W2s are not needed when you send tax transcripts. In fact it says in the instructions to NOT send w2s if you send tax transcripts.
