Approval Notice

Hello everybody,

I am a lill confused. We received our Approval Notice for Alien Relative Form I-130 a couple of days ago via Mail. First question: Is that our "NOA2"? The letter says they will get in touch with us. Second question: Which packet will be up next? 3 or 4? We would like to be prepared and gather all the documents already. Also what about the DS-230 or the DS-260?

Would love to get some input on those things... Thank you very much

Yep, that's the NOA2. Packet 3 is next, you should be receiving the letter soon. Basically steps 3-5 from the Embassy website:

http://germany.usembassy.gov/visa/iv/step3/

You will be filling in DS-260, for an IR-1/CR-1 visa. Packet 4 is just an invitation to schedule the interview and get the medical exam done.
