Thanks Irish,

We have everything crossed that we can possibly get crossed. You know it's strange, but I was ok until now. The closer it gets the worse it is. We check the waiver list a million times a day. It's kind of useless but it doesn't matter we still have to check it. :P Not really much we can do but just wait and see what happens.

You know we really should count our blessings. Compaired to some of the other embassy's London is still one of, if not the fastest on waivers. So many of the others take months and even years to hear something. I kind of feel guilty for whinning so much sometimes. But hey that's why I'm the Princess of Whine.

Thanks for the well wishes,

Vicky

Oh how I hate this............................. No update since August 30th and today they finally update and changed NOTHING. Same 6 cases under review since August 9th. Added two cases and moved everyone around again.

I've said so many swear words I sound like a sailor on holiday.

Fiddlesticks. I came on here looking for some news. Is Monday the only day they change it?

No becca they just do it whenever. No rhyme or reason to it. It's not even current so I don't know why I rant so much about it. There are cases that were done for weeks that never showed up on the list until almost 2 or 3 weeks after they had already gotten their letter. It's just the only connection you have to see if anything is going on with your case but it's not updated on a regular basis so I don't know why I bother. Just seems that everything is getting to me now. Hey in a couple more weeks I might even be bald.

Ok I'm going to go crawl back under my rock now.

still nothing? this is crazy.

do they have any idea the limbo they keep people in for so long? I would love for them to experience it and see how it feels.

do they have any concept of how peoples lives are changed forever based on their decision? I got several pms from my daughter last night about how desperately unhappy she is about me being here. She said she knew it would be hard but didn't realize how hard it would hit her. She has clients in our hometown and she said that now she can't stand to go there if I am not there. She said that she even overnighted some documents to one client last week rather than hand deliver it as she normally would have. She just couldn't bear to be there. The hardships affect more people than the petitioner and/or beneficiary.

I feel a little bad ... like I am being selfish... but... they are grown!!! All my kids are over 30!

On a lighter note.... my son is getting my car ready to sell for me (stupid me somehow packed the title and had to mail it to him last week). He said he was waxing and cleaning it etc. and told his little four year old daughter Carina that it was Grandma Mary's car and she wouldn't need it anymore as she was in England. Carina said to him " we should visit Grandma Mary... she is going to miss us!" LOL! she didn't say she missed me... just that "I" would miss "them." Too cute.

I need to find some cards to send....

Hi Mary,

Well I can say your sounding a whole lot better since you finally gotten over to be with Tom. I can hear it in your voice. he he

Just give your family some time. They will see how happy you are and they will come around.

So cute what you Grandaughter said. Just think of all the things you can show her when they do come for a visit. Oh and I bet when she gets older she will want to come and spend the summer with Grandma.

Nice to get a smile out of you Mary,

Vicky

Hi Tiff,

yea so happy for Vicky, she's gonna be happily surprised when she comes back :D

I'm still stuck in here, can you belive it???? I haven't gotten anything from the Danish embassy yet, I emailed them like 10 days ago, and they keep telling me that London is using their own mailsystem and it takes a while longer to get from London to Copenhagen, so when they do recieve it they will let me know.. WTH !!!! I thought that it would take like max 1 week or so like everyone else, but nope.......

Guess the waiting game isn't quite over for me yet. I'm still waiting to get my visa, and it's been like 2 weeks now :( I'm just sooo sick of waiting, am so ready to book my ticket and be reunited with hubby *sigh*

How about you? How was the trip? Tell us about it.... I hope you had lots of fun  and I hope that you are happier now, you deserve it after all the ####### you've been through.

It's wonderful to see that you're still checking in with us, feels like forever since I joined this forum and it's amazing that Vicky and I are still waiting

:D Well Oh Happy Day.

Isn't that just the way things go. I go somewhere for work for one stinking day and shazam. We finally are under review. I guess the old saying.............watch a pot and it never boils is true. Oh I'm so happy and nevous at the same time. This mean someone has our letter in the itty bitty hands. Oh ####### I think I'm going to puke.:lol:

Thanks for checking in on us Tiff. Beetee already asked but how did the trip go? Hope things are going well for you.

Beetee.............you crack me up. Yeah that is so funny we were talking about something happening just because I couldn't check the list today. 6 hours of driving in a car and wondering all day.......what a nice surprise. All I can say is you better get your visa and be on your way to the US before we hear something. You get the honor of leaving the rubber room before I do. ;) Oh did you notice they changed the list. It now says just 15 weeks. No more 12 to 15 weeks. I was wondering when they would change it. Hummmm I think they were reading my mind.

Hey becca. It just means that someone is looking at our waiver. It could be 1 week, 4 weeks, never know but we should hear something soon. Actually it just give me more reason to worry and wonder  I was hoping for a surprise complete so I didn't have to watch it being under review for weeks. But hey I'll take it. At least is progress.

Talk to you guys soon,

Vicky
