 Does anyone have any drugs? Ok I really don't understand now. I really do think now all they are doing is screwing with us. They did absolutely nothing on the list. Completed nothing. Only added one case and bumped our case all the way back up to the top of the list. What the *&^*# is this #######?

You know i think I'm going to need to stop looking at the ^%$&* thing.

Sorry guys i'm getting pissed :(

Ok rant over with now.

Sorry,

Vicky

I know.. the waiting is brutal. Every morning in February I woke up and waited for that phone to ring with the approval phone call (we had been told 6 - 8 weeks but then it changed to 12 so I extended my stay there). Often I wasn't getting enough sleep because if I woke towards morning I was unable to fall back to sleep. Many times I was in tears as noon approached. I wonder if they understand what they put us through. Do they know that we are real human beings here with real emotions and with lives to live? Tom had taken some time off work in February hoping to take me to Scotland (his home country) but we were afraid to leave London. We so wanted that phone call that we didn't go anywhere... at least not in the mornings. Now I understand it's a letter either way.

Okay I am about ready to file the I130 I can't figure out to change some answers from how they have this darn Acrobat Adobe sheet set up...not enough space. So my friend is working on it for me. How frustrating!!! I just figured it would look nicer to type instead of write it!!! Ahhh relief...had to vent!!!

Exciting news....picking up my new car here in the UK and its a automatic!!! YEAH! Hard to come by over here but there are more around then people seem to think.

Hi jpkeswim,

Sounds like your moving right along. Congrats on the new car. I can just imagine it in my mind. An american in the Uk driving on the wrong side of the road with an automatic. That could be scarey. Just kidding you. Hope you enjoy being mobile.

Hey guys sorry about the rant yesterday. Boy the little things that set me off. How embarrasing.

I kind of figured out the method to their madness. I just now noticed that all they did was put the London cases in numerical order. Starting with the year then so on.

Well anyway back to normal now.....................ok no comments on the normal part. :P

Your avatar scares me!

I booked a flight last night... for Friday Sept. 1st. Its a night flight so I will get there on Saturday the 2nd. At the moment I can't even think that far ahead. I am so overwhelmed by the task of getting out of this house. I have an international shipper picking up my things on the 29th and I have to turn the house over to the new owners on the 30th. Will spend a couple of nights at my daughter's place and then either she or my son will take me to the airport. Not sure if I can manage to sell the car before I go. I really don't want to deal with it.

I bought a round trip ticket as a one way would have cost $400 more!

Aww Mary,

My avatar is just a iddy biddy old cow with a big tongue. I thought it was kind of cute and it's just saying hello.

Oh wow your finally ready to go back. I know it's been torture for you getting all that done by yourself. When you get on that plane. Sit back and relax, think about how exciting it will be to see Tom and to be with him again. That's the most important part of all of this. Don't worry about what you didn't get done. It will work out or your kids can take care of it for you. Dang it...........kids are good for something.

I was just playing around the other day and found some one way tickets that weren't so bad. Just depends on if and when so we are waiting to see what happens.

Hang in there ...........your almost there.

Vicky

Hi Vicky!

I like your avatar! it's cute!!

Don't take this the wrong way but I had to laugh about your rant!! It's only because I felt the same way when we were waiting in the UK for some type of advance on the list, some days can be so bloody frustrating, especially when you think you have the list all worked out!!!

If you think the I-601 list is frustrating, wait til you get to the AOS stage, you are supposed to be able to track the status of your AOS and EAD on-line on the USCIS website after you receive your NOA's (similar to when we first filed our I-129f for the K1 visa)...........but

the website isn't working and USCIS are getting 100s of calls a day about it...... people just haven't had any updates for weeks if not months on their cases.........

sounds familar???? :P

I'm having my biometrics taken today so I better jump in the shower now and go and look pretty! :D

Oh it's ok Paul,

Yeah i think it's worthless to try to figure out what they do with that list. (doesn't stop me from trying though) As much as I try I just can't help myself. I guess I need to have something to stress over.

It kind of figures. After the whole wait on the waiver for you. Now you have to deal with a delay on the AOS. I guess we know it will never end. I said yesterday that this was like being on the worlds largest roller coaster. Have a seat, fasten your seat belt. Keep all your loose and personal items inside and throw those hands up in the air....... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Oh and have fun getting purdy. Good luck with your biometrics.
