OMG!!! Don't they have a nail biting icon ...... I'm so nervous. I never wanted to be in the "under review" - I'd rather just wake up and see "completed" you know, to spare me all the nervewrecking waiting. :P

Wow London is really working fast lately huh? they have almost reached your case too Vicky  Well I guess yours is not far from mine because mine was recieved by London May 2nd and yours was filed May 5th, so you're just 1-2 weeks behind

Something nice, is that this past weekend we passed our 2 yr wedding annivesary, so I've been told that it's now a IR-1 instead of CR -1  It was kinda sad that I got to spend it alone again like last year, so we're both looking forward to our 3rd year anniversary, hoping to celebrate 3x as much  he he

I really hope that they'll complete it soon, and that yours will be too Vicky

*hugs vicky*

Vicky hadn't you heard what happened. I have learned there is only one person at USCIS who processes every single item for all the cases from Northern Ireland. They have Chris' waiver, Wes' AOS and all those other cases to see to. Plus it's marching season in the North so they flew over there for a cultural understanding project. While there they fell into a barrel of Guinness and haven't been heard from since. Reports are they'll be back at their desk by St. Patrick's Day.

:lol::lol: St. Patty's day my azz. Ok I was hoping it wouldn't come to this but I guess I have to stoop to extreme measures........................................................................

.......................

I'm packing my wet suit, flippers and snorkel and going in after them. Oh and if that doesn't work I'll break out the dreaded flyswatter. ;)

Actually London is picking up some speed. We are moving down the list pretty quick lately and hope it continues.

Vicky ;)

I keep watching this thread.. hoping for good news. I didn't know you got an RFE.

I have sold my house and only have two more weeks to get out of it so now I am panicking.. there is still ALOT of stuff here. I don't have a flight yet... waiting to find out from the shipper what my shipping date will be. Have to sell the car but I still need it. I have no idea how to coordinate all this. Tom is so much better at these things and he can't be here to help. That's what sucks the most. He would if they would let him in. I am very nervous about flying. I was planning to use carry on to the max so now I don't know what will happen.

:D yeah we are whinning in private now instead of making a specticle of ourselves. Naw not really we just thought since we couldn't find anyone to join us we would just keep pm'ing. It is nice to see some post in here. I"ve had a hectic week but school starts back up on Tuesday so things should settle back down now. All I have to do is get the critter used to going to bed early. That should only take a month or so. I've never had a kid that was so hard to get to sleep. She's been like that even when she was a baby. I'm starting to think she's part vampire. :o

I think beetee will hear something soon. Hopfully this week. Wednesday seems to be the big day with Friday just being the day they update us just to keep us happy for the weekend. I just can't believe they have 9 cases under review all at once. I think that is some kind of record.:o just kidding. I think we still have a few weeks to go but that's ok , at least we are getting closer.

Mary,

Oh it sounds like your making some progress and I'm sure it is difficult figuring out how and when to do everything. At least it doesn't sound like it will be much longer. Just think of how wonderful it will be to see Tom waiting on you at the airport and starting your life together. Everytime you get a little stressed just think about that. I'm sure that will help.

Keep smiling people. When one smiles everyone does.

Mary&Tom

Yes, we got a RFE - recieved it Aug 1st and sent it back to them a few days later, they recieved it last Tuesday. Hopefully they will complete our case this week :)

It sounds very chaotic with the moving and selling of your stuff, I hope that you get it all figured out. How about leaving the car with your family and have them sell it for you - is that an option? that way you can use it till you have to leave.

Is it expensive to rent a storage space in the US? If it's cheap, you could do that and put your stuff in there, the things that you don't want to part with/have not sold yet/sorted out - and later, 1yr or so, when you come back to visit your kids, and your mind is more at ease you can sell it or sort it out.

It's very tiring that it UK/US flight thing has happened, I can't imagine how it is at the airports at this moment. Hopefully someone that has flown from the UK to the US/vice versa will share their experience..... I'm actually very curious to know too :)

Vicky,

Hope you had a great weekend .....oh, it's still Sunday today haha - okay, I hope you had a great Saturday :luv:

I watch this thread as well. I love checking that wonderful site that you have to watch the 601's get worked on. I am cheering you all on. I also am hoping that that infomation site is a prototype for the rest of the consulates. Wishful thinking I know. But it helps with the waiting.

Hi Scroll

Jump in any time. We could use the company sometimes. Yeah I'm not so sure about that list. It's nice to see your case on there but It's also nerve wrecking. Especially when you go under review and it sits there for several weeks. Think it might be nice if they just went from pending to completed and skip the whole under review. Hope the other consulates pick up on it and use it soon. At least you can see that they have received your case. That's better than wondering about it.
