OMG Tiff I am so very very sorry. I don't know what to say. I just don't understand and I guess we never will. Wish there was something I do or say but hey........you know we are all crying with you. We may not physically know each other but we are all kind of a family around here. When one of us hurts...........we all hurt. You go finish having your cry and come back when you feel you can. Maybe there is something we can figure out. Maybe with their reason for the denial we can help you figure out what or if there is something else that can be done. I know your not ready for that yet but maybe after some time we can help.

BIG SQUEEZE (((((((((((((((((((((( HUGS )))))))))))))))))))))))))))

That's what I was thinking, Vicky. After Tiff has had some time, all of us will put our heads together and help with next steps. I read this forum a lot to see how all of your cases are progressing so I take it personally when they deny one of you. Hence me being ticked off.

mary&tom, I'm still ticked off FOR you, even this far after the fact...

Hello all! We are really sorry to hear your news as well! We feel the pain, but everything is working out in the UK as well. We just got married on July 14th and it was a gorgeous day. There were about 15 people here from the states so it was a very hectic week.

To everyone on the VJ site we are about ready to start our process again but last time we did it with the lawyers help. Could you guys head us in the right direction....we fired our lawyer. He took us for about 12000 pounds!!!!! Please....so I know we have to file a K-3 because we are married now, I guess I will start reading into it! HELP!

Okay I have downloaded the I-130 and the G-325A...is there anything else I send to the American embassy besides this the first time....I need all the help I can get. My Husband (haha) has no clue about this stuff. Also should I just use my maiden name on all these forms? It would take forever to get my ss card change and my passport....please help!!!

Hi jpkeswim

Congrats on your wedding. Sounds like everything went well and you had a few family there. Wish I could help you with the K-3 visa but I'm doing the K-1 so I doubt I would be much help. Someone will answer you i'm sure.

Well we have another update if that's what you want to call it. I'm not sure I even care anymore. I'm so tired of looking and being dissapointed. Not sure I will even look anymore.

Hope your doing ok Tiff. At least as good as you can be.

See ya,

Vicky

jpkeswim, I would start by reading the 'Guides' section above as well as the pinned topics in the K3 section of this site. You'll have better luck posing any remaining questions in that forum. Good luck!

I forgot to say, regarding a lawyer. I hear many good things about Laurel Scott (from I2U) she specializes in I-601 waivers. Her website is www.visacentral.net - she has a free chat every wednesday if you have questions to ask her.

Good luck.

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well :D

There's another update in London, I like how they update it very frequently lately  ... looks like they have experimented with different colors, now we should not think BLUE anymore, but rather PURPLE :P:P

They did not complete anything, only added a few more cases.

I just wanted to say to Tiff, that I hope you are doing okay..... we are all thinking of you :luv:

Dear all,

Greetings from me, just back from a lovely honeymoon, which followed a fantastic wedding day. It was truly a day that will be in my memory for a long time..... and one of the lasting memories will be that of my beautiful wife in her dress (I'll include some pics soon).

I came back on the VJ site all ready to send out some big congrats and share my happiness with you good people. But I found myself instead in utter shock at hearing about Tiff and Caspian's denial, reading through past threads, trying to understand.......... trying to make sense of this mess....

Tiff I am so so sorry for you, I can't imagine the pain and disarray you must be feeling, your world has been turned upside down. As everyone else has said we are all here for you. Get your head back together and then decide on what is next........

what system is this that we face with the DHS??? a system that denies couples the right to be together, the right to be happy? These people are not monsters, they are not bad people. Who has the right to decide that a man who is simply found in posession of a bit of cannabis (not even his own), years and years ago can't be with his loved one? what wrong has he done? what system is it that approves people who have robbed or even assaulted people in the past but yet denies people who may have smoked a joint 20 years ago? who HASN'T smoked a joint?? my god.... :(

sorry ladies about the rant..... I just can't beleive Tiff's news.......I really really hope she comes back on and maybe gives a little more information in the official reason for the denial....

one thing is in my mind as I write this...... I am looking down at my left hand and thinking about how fortunate I am to be the position that I am in.... I don't think I will ever think of it lightly.

Tiff once again I am heartbroken for you........ (F)

phew................ tomorrow's another day eh?

good night ladies

Hi Paul,

welcome back - sounds like you had a wonderful wedding and honeymoon, you guys deserve it after dealing with all of this imm. stuff (F) Yup, we all want to see pictures.

Yea, as you can tell we are all feeling very sad at the moment, the past week was definitely not a good week for our group :(

Paul, thanks for the kind words. We're doing okay. I'm so glad to hear you are doing well. I already posted on the other thread about our denial, so I won't bore you with the details. Just hoping there's good news for Beetee soon! If it can't be us, I can certainly still be really happy for the rest of you. :)

Hi Tiff,

thank you for those kind words (F)

You should know that we are all here for you if you want to rant, vent or need support - you don't have to worry, there's nothing that could bore us, if you need to post something 100 times, it's totally fine with me - you just need to get it out of the system.

I hope that you realize that a denial is not the end, you can still MTR or appeal it. There are a few over at I2U that got denied and did a MTR, 2 months later they got approved  But I know that you need time to gather your thoughts before the next move :luv:

(((( Big hug )))))

Beetee,

I have heard that some MTR's can take a lot longer than 2 months, in most cases at least 6 months, although getting your congressman involved does help considerably.

I'm sure, what ever happens, Tiff and Caspian will do whatever they need to, to be together...

and of course we will support them all the way

:D Hey Beetee. I think you are UNDER REVIEW . Hang on to your shorts woman. It won't be long now.

I wonder why they skipped up and completed some so far up the list. Hey one of those is only a couple from our number.
