RFE/INFOPass Experience

So my spouse and I went to our AOS interview and were issued an RFE on the spot for something I would have never imagined being needed. Luckily, it was for something really simple and the IO instructed us to mail directly to them at the local USCIS office and we mailed out the same day for next day arrival. It's been about 1.5 months and still haven't heard anything and scheduled an INFOPass appt.

Just need some clarification from those who have experience with INFOPass:

1. Do I take just the RFE information or should I also take the entire packet that I prepared for the AOS Interview?

2. I heard that once the RFE evidence is presented, then approvals come within a few hours of that day?

I would take everything, and no, there is no rule that once the evidence is presented, that they need to approve you within a few hours. What was the RFE for?

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
