There has been a marked increase in calls for domestic violence related assistance since thug Ray Rice punched his fiancee so hard on an elevator that he knocked her unconscious. Unfortunately, most of those victims will not have the privilege of having a video depicting the thug man punching a woman as those produced in the Ray Rice case. Let's hope this case will help bring awareness to this problem that is far too often overlooked and excused in the black community.

Please explain your thinking and or data points that let you quality this as a problem limited to the African American community.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

I think I see where the disconnection is. GZ didn't follow him because he was racist. He followed him because he was a black male. If TM was a white male, he wouldn't have followed him.

And following a stranger without identifying yourself can get you killed as well. Had TM killed him in fear of his life, would he be able to say he was being followed and fought because he didn't know what GZ was going to do to him?

I think this is a perfect description of the situation.

Let's hope this case will help bring awareness to this problem that is far too often overlooked and excused in the black community.

How in the world could domestic violence be a racial issue?

So, the bet is: Will there be no reply or tap dancing?

I'm going with tap dancing.

No reply would almost be like admitting being wrong. Not gonna happen.

It's been over an hour. Let's say 2100? Gives him a little over 3 hours to come up with something.

You're on!

Yes it is. Let the games begin...

Will privileged NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell get a bye from public scrutiny for minimizing, lying, and protecting privileged athletic thug Ray Rice? It might just be okay to protect the black thug from criminal and public scrutiny to protect the branding of the NFL. After all, he is a white businessman who may have more interest in preserving business than subjecting thugs to what should amount to the loss of his dreams for their criminal acts.

NFL chief Roger Goodell faces intense criticism after Ray Rice video

(CNN) -- Ray Rice is out of a job. An increasing number of critics think National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell, the man in charge of disciplining the star player, should be next. The commissioner told CBS News on Tuesday that he was sickened by what he saw on a newly released video that showed Rice knocking out his now-wife with a ferocious punch, but insisted that Monday was the first time he or anyone in NFL headquarters had seen the full scope of the February incident.
He also deflected criticism of his handling of Rice's case and his initial lenient penalty for the Baltimore Ravens running back's act.
When asked did he really need to see a video of the brutal knockout punch to decide on the length of Rice's punishment, the commissioner said, "No."

All I have to say is that with a sociopathic ex-husband who likes to stalk me as well as all the mob attacks, mob snatch-and-runs, and the knockout game, I just carry a big walking stick. If someone is coming at me in a threatening manner and gets within 4 feet of me I feel that I have a right to defend myself.

Although I am totally pro-gun and was raised around guns I am afraid not everyone is aware of firearms rules. Namely, don't point a gun at something you don't plan on killing. A lot of people (including peace officers) view guns as the first go-to in a questionable situation. There are many other ways of defending yourself. Personally I think we should all carry swords.

Lets pretend Expat missed my original question because of its unobtrusive simplicity and reset the clock...

I corrected your quote of my words and your political attempt to insert your own opinion and ideology in its place. You also attempted to have me quantify something as being limited to the black community. For this reason, there are a few buttons on your computer that will not function to enable you to perform even the most rudimentary search to learn how broken families, crime, and domestic violence dominate the black community. These things are not limited to the black community, they just dominate the black culture of America.
