A simple framing for this story: "A group of black thugs attack a white man and white woman and beat the hell out of them because they were white." This is hard to understand for the people who seek alternative explanations to explain away black NFL players who use their girlfriends/fiances on elevators like a punching bag. Crime does not exist, or gets explained away when historical race cards and charts are displayed in shiny colors and interesting shapes.

Wait, what needs explaining about this? Sometimes black NFL players abuse their spouses, sometimes white NFL players kill people. Seems that sometimes, regardless of race, people are violent. Imagine that.

You're kinda wasting keystrokes here. There's never been one piece of solid evidence in the TM/GZ case that it had anything to do with race. Period. Sure, there's pages of threads here and rampant speculation on TV and the net, but not one SINGLE thing that has shown that case to be nothing more than a some kid thinking he was going to be bada$$ and teach that guy a lesson. It got him killed. End of story.

During the months leading up to the February 26, 2012 shooting, Zimmerman called the police several times to report people he believed to be suspicious. On each of the calls, Zimmerman only offered information about their race when specifically asked by the dispatcher to do so, reporting that the people were black males.

On February 6, workers witnessed two young black men lingering in the yard of a Twin Lakes resident around the same time a new laptop and some gold jewelry were stolen from her home. The next day police discovered the stolen laptop in the backpack of a young black man whom Zimmerman identified as the same person he had spotted peering into windows on February 2.

On the recording, Zimmerman is heard saying, "these #######, they always get away

GZ had already been convinced TM was guilty of something. Why would he make that correlation if race hadn't been the motivation?

What is ####? I already went down this road with MBD. It was never proven that he said anything racial. If he did, why didn't they bring it up at the trial? You would think that would be a prosecutors wet dream. And even if he did (I'm not conceding that he did) it still doesn't give anyone the right to jump on him and pound within an inch of his life. Doing that could get you killed as it did in this case.

Ok so your premise is that GZ following him made TM jump on him and pound his face? Again, so what? I don't get why you keep blaming TM's death on him being followed rather than the azz whooping he was giving GZ. There's no justification for that. I seem to miss that in the trial where George would not have kept an eye on a white stranger . Holder has had an investigation going on for a few years now... Have there been charges of a hate crime at the trial or for the duration after / I am sure root would have posted it ,
