hello, I am just curious how to know when your application was scanned by NVC? Our case was sent to the Visa centre on Dec 18th, but we haven't heard nothing yet.

u will receive an email from NVC with a date

Sep 4th 2014 Wedding

Oct 31st 2014 I130 sent

Nov 7th 2014 NOA 1

Dec 8th 2014 NOA 2

Dec 23th 2014 NVC received

Feb 4th 2015 Case number

Feb 5th 2015 DS261 completed

Feb 6th 2015 AOS fee (paid in process)

Feb 9th 2015 Sent AOS and IV package

Feb10th 2015 AOS fee PAID and DS261 reviewed

Feb 10th 2015 AOS and IV package received(SCAN DATE) Got email confirmation 60days

Feb 11th 2015 IV fee (paid in process)

Feb 12th 2015 DS260 available

Feb 12th 2015 IV fee PAID

Feb 16th 2015 DS260 completed

Mar 20th 2015 Case Complete without checklist

I see. So in order words, there is not going to be a regular mail sent us after this part? I just find difficult to understand that such important part in the process gets sent by email. Thank you

Hey,

I am currently waiting on my NVC case number. I noticed that you emailed them for it and received it that way? When your I-130 was approved did you get a letter from USCIS stating that "we have sent the original visa petition to NVC" and that you should wait for them to send a case number? Because I have waited a month now, and have not received a case number yet...

Also, are you filing from US? Did you get I-130 approved abroad and then came to US and filed for AOS? or why is your case going through NVC? I am in a similar boat and would like to know if that's possible..
