I dislike your fist sentence, however, for once, your comment didn't just blast black people. Amazing!!

How is it that blacks are so lazy but when people work hard they compare it to a bunch of black people.

It is true, there are some blacks that do not want anything but there are many more that do! They work hard and still have a hard time getting a break.

A guy interviewed for a job at my office recently, black PhD in higher ed, equivalent experience as the other two applicants.

They have now narrowed the job down to two white women,(not blasting white women) with less education, and the one they really want to give the job to has even less experience than the other and they only want to give it to her because she is from another department on campus. I felt really sorry for the dude.

People claim education really plays a part in whether or not blacks can achieve certain goals, but it is untrue!! You should also look at the unemployment rate for black kids graduating from college versus others. The truth of the matter is, education is not likely to help black people become acceptable in society, it is only an excuse.

I was thinking the same thing. Sometimes the promote within thing irritates me as it does exactly this, puts someone into a new position they may not be qualified for. We do that a lot and it ends up with unqualified/under educated people becoming "engineers" That's frustrating. I can assure you guys, it happens regardless of race.

I agree I don't see racism in this one. Plus they are wanting to promote a chick. Always a better than even chance she is seeing someone, goes up to about 80% if she is hot.

In fact, despite all his blather about "economic justice" and his actions to redistribute wealth as he sees fit, the only group to see incomes rise under O'bama were the top 10%. It's almost as if he doesn't understand the economy!

Unemployment influences income, but oooooh soo slowly at that the bottom. There are other sources of income including the accumlation of your assets. It is no secret that the top 10 % and 1 % have by far come out way ahead from the last recession. That is not because of or inspite of the Administration or Congress, more of a fact that they stayed in the market or had assets they were able to ride through the roughest part.

Can you enumerate this vast distribution of wealth that has occured under Obama? I would love to see numbers on that. Maybe on a different thread as I think this thread could be about how we get young americans back to work. Too bad we blew it all on a vast redistribution of wealth.

The lady has no experience in the area or realm of work that we are doing versus someone else from another university who did. Promoting someone from outside of our department and building is the same as bringing someone else in from the outside. She is still an outsider just like he was.

It amazes me how you skipped the part about no matter how educated blacks become it is still does not prove to be a door opener to help society become more acceptable of blacks and that black college students still have the highest unemployment rate.

But that is your style, commenting on things that you feel can be turned into a joke instead of addressing the issue. The truth is, you would rather continue to ignore these issues. Let me put this in green and ask you to try again.
