My wife and I want to move to America from Australia. She is a Us citizen and I am Australian. We have been married for just over 2 years and were married in America. We also have a 1 yr old daughter which I don't think is a issue we have organised her US passport.

I have been offer a great job in Florida too which they want me there ASAP but really have no ideas about visa...

So what are my options???

I-130, K-3 ( is this still exist), a work visa????

What is going to be the fastest???

Would really appreciate some help.... Matt

You will be applying for an IR1 visa which uses form i-130. K3 visas are obsolete these days.

Timeline all really depends case by case. I would plan a year at minimum. I'm not sure how behind USCIS is these days but people at the NVC are waiting 60 days or longer. Waiting for an interview can be weeks or months. Going through Egypt we waited just under 5. But it is speeding up.

My tips are to read as much as you can, gather a lot of evidence of a real marriage, and proofread your paperwork plenty of times. Patience is also a must. My husband and I have been waiting a year and half. Just had his interview and now we are in administrative processing or visa limbo as I like to call it.

There is no ASAP with the visa process.

If the company really wants to hire you they should do all the paperwork for you to obtain a work visa.

It is currently taking about 15 months to obtain a spousal visa.

Hi,

Nothing about US immigration happens ASAP.

Unless the Florida company wants to pay for a work visa, it will take about a year for you to immigrate through your USC wife.

A work visa will take time. Depends on the type of work visa and your job. It could take more than a year.

File for the IR-1.
