Hi there,

My visa was approved in the 29th of August in London (currently writing up my experience!) and the status on CEAC changed to "Issued" on Wednesday 3rd September.

Since then I've not heard anything which may be my fault- they say they text you the tracking number but I sold my phone and cancelled my SIM the other day (doh!).

Anyway I've got a couple of questions for you fine people:

1. Should I also get an email from the embassy who my tracking number? If not, how should I go about getting one?

2. Do DX automatically deliver on Saturdays or am I stuck until after the weekend?

3. Finally, the big one... Have I missed anything? By that I mean, I filled out the courier info and paid a delivery fee on the usvisa-info site, but that's it. After the interview I just left the embassy. I've read some threads talking about paying for an envelope at the embassy, and the website said delivery starts at $30 but I don't think I paid that much... I also didn't get to choose before 12pm delivery. What do you think?

Thanks very much for your time!

(Please move if not in right place)

You haven't missed anything but your text. There is no envelope at the London embassy. Each is different so if the post you read wasn't UK, then it may not apply to you. Delivery is 30 to your home or free to the depot

You will probably get the visa package Monday. There is a list of DX depots in this post with phone numbers and hours. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/?p=6978899

Call your closest one and ask if they have a way to look up your package by name or delivery address. Maybe they can help you out.

Thanks very much for your replies! I know I'm stressing out way too much.

I was hoping to leave tomorrow (Sunday)... Does anybody know if there is a possibility of a Saturday delivery?

Oh, one more thing... Is a credit card with my full passport name enough for I.D.? The only photo ID I have is... my passport, haha!

Your closest depot is probably closed now, but if your package was sitting there to go out, they likely would have let you come collect it. Or it may be farther than you want to drive. Yes a credit card is enough to claim it from the DX driver. Most of them don't even ask.
