I am wondering how come some applicant receiving both AOS and IV bills together or very close to each other where as others have to wait for longer? For my case, I got the AOS bill on 7/30/14, which I paid on same day, received NVC on 8/7/2014 and yet to receive IV bill. Can’t send IV documents so now it’s waiting game.

DS- 261 submitted in 7/24/2014.

AOS billed and pain on 7/30/14

AOS received on 8/7/2014

The IV bill depends on the 261 NOT the AOS.

Processing the 261 is supposed to take 30 business days from date of submission. I submitted on the 18th and was just told two days ago that my 261 was reviewed "Yesterday" However that has yet to reflect on my status page, and obviously there is no IV bill yet.

I was told a week ago that 261's were taking 60 days, but that is not correct. There appears to be one operator propagating this mis-information "Cindy" I think. If you get her try a different operator.

AOS package, and IV package reviews are currently taking "... at least 60 days" and that was calendar days, and starts on the date of acceptance by NVC - 8/7 in your case. So may as well get a refreshing beverage and sit back, this is going to be a while. :-(

One word: lawyer

Because the IV invoice is based of of the recieve and case add of the DS-261, people who get both the AOS and IV at the same time have a lawyer. When there is a lawyer attached to the case the DS-261 is not needed.

Thank you guys.

In that case, I am overdue for my IV bill as I submitted 261 on 7/24th. Looks like its time to call. Why ppl don't do there jobs right!

Actually you're not due until like the 22nd of Sept. That is 60 days from your submit date as long as you did not resubmit it for any reason.

Right now it is 60 calendar days.

I really am not sure who to believe...But I guess it's still 30 business days. I'm still waiting for my IV bill also... Well, I called NVC last Friday...and the girl said my DS-261 has been reviewed on Sept. 3... I submitted my 261 on July 30th. She also said that I should be getting the invoice shortly since it has already been reviewed. Hopefully this week. :)

Yeah, it's a pretty long wait. Goodluck to all of us!

I suggest that you call NVC to find out if your ds261 has been reviewed. There is a possibility that is reviewed. If not, ask how many days it takes them to add it.

Please keep us posted, thanks!

It's not misinformation. I waited 68 days for my IV bill ಠ_ಠ

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered

November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

It is when you consider Cindy is talking about business days. According to her, I would be looking at mid October from mid July. It sure as **** better be mis-information.

I was not given an estimate for 261 times the second time I called, because it had been processed "yesterday", but that puts me at 31 Business days, or 45 calendar days.

That is time to get the 261 reviewed, provided the idiot I talked to was not lying, I don't have any idea how long to get from that to a IV bill being ready - its already a week. Maybe they should think about using computers, they would speed things up... oh wait.
