Texas daycare center accused of withholding water to keep diapers dry

That choice still meant a sacrifice. Well worth it and we wouldn't have it any different way.

That aside, some people will depend on daycare facilities and there's nothing wrong with that, really. But one should be aware that one's kids will be looked after by people whose work is valued at minimum wage or thereabout. Shite is bound to happen from time to time under those circumstances, no? So why the outrage? As a nation, we're asking for this shite. And we're getting it.

Ok. So is the solution for someone to stay at home and not be able to work. It doesn't make you less of a parent or make your kids love you less just because you had to put your kids in a daycare.

So again, what is the solution to fix this? Why is it we cannot demand our government to look out for the well being of it's citizens?

If the woman isn't working you don't have to waste all that money for her clothes. Save a lot by not having a second car.

This is really my favorite quote, I meany even people who stay home generally do need clothes dont they? I know I was watched my daughter for a few months years ago and I at least tried to put on some clothes.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

I get the feeling that you are totally misreading my posts. So let me try to make it a bit more clear: The solution might be to organize daycare somewhat similar to public schools albeit voluntary and with cost charged on a means tested basis. I don't see how you get daycare woirkers out of the minimum wage predicament otherwise. We have the same issue on the other end of the age spectrum, too. Old folk are largely looked after by minimum wage personnel. And, unsurprisingly, the result isn't really any better.

Bottom line, there are areas where the profit motive as the primary driver has produced less than desirable results. These reports about abuse against kids and the elderly in places where they are supposed to be taken care of and nurtured tell the story loud and clear.

So there you go. Make sure your toddler takes duct tape with him/her when going to the daycare center. Then they can fight back.

Now that is the most practical thing you have said today...if Duct tape is outlawed....

Putting kids in school at the age of 3 may not be so bad. Give families some kid of assistance that would allow one parent to stay at home until the kid turns 3.

Let me sum up this for those that hate to read.

The gubement should provide free child care and only charge who make a decent living, working their butts of, while subsidizing big salaries for those who provide child care. That way they can afford a 5 dollar big Mac served up by a high school drop out making 18 bucks per hour

Ah the liberal utopia. Just think, the gumbement could do for health care what it has done for our veterans and Health care.

Kick all the illegals out. Put moms back in the home. Bingo only legal men in the workforce and wages go up, so everyone can live on one salary like the good ol days

I don't think I could have put it better myself. Added benefits are that by staying home she won't need to spend money in make up and hair care products or shoes. A couple of burlap dresses and she is dressed to the nines. Lots of rugs around the house and voi-la, no need to walk around shod.

Mine too.

So it is the illegals taking the jobs now. Again, sounds like a government problem to me. What are you going to do to show your gubement that you are unhappy about illegals taking jobs and women can't stay at home to raise children because of it?

You sound medieval!
