Nobody cares about the people migrating to the U.S. legally. We are silent and make no noise and let the U.S. embassies take advantage of us.

It is just for illegal aliens already in the US. The US government is not interested in helping those doing everything the right legal way.

I used to not care about illegals as long as they "work" but after dealing with the US embassy (fiance tourist visa denied a couple year's ago) and now applying for a K1 Visa (expensive, time-consuming) I sort of resent them a bit more. The reason why laws or so restricitive is because of illegals and fraudsters that make it more difficult for everyone else.

Sadly these Immigration reforms are only for those who have anchor babies and border jumpers (a.k.a those who break the queue) since that's where the compassion is..thats where the heart wrenching tales can be told off people "forced" to cross the borders on the feet by their parents and relatives in search of opportunities......Others Legal immigrants with not so heart wrenching tales have to wait their turn patiently...!!

Abandoning his pledge to act by the end of summer, President Barack Obama has decided to delay any executive action on immigration until after the November congressional elections, White House officials said.

It is one explanation, but have you considered that because it is so damn difficult, the so called "illegals" have no option??

One might say that since they have no fiance or spouse, they have no right to come into the US; but in many cases (one recent case are the children coming alone to the borders) the alternative is death, and I'm not exagerating a bit.

In other less life or death situations, the motives are economic: they simple want a better future for therir families.

And yes, there are bad apples as well, many.

The original settlers came to what is now the US in 1620 because of persecution -or so they said-; recent "illegals" have the same reason.

Perhaps not all, but can we also be certain that among the first pilgrims, there wasn't anyone just catching a ride?

The problem is quite complex, and politician's narratives simplify the issues way too much and want to present it as a black and white issue; it is not.

I don't have an answer but I know the more we delay in discussing this openly and transparently, the worst it will become. Compromises and commitments are going to be needed.

Our "illustrious" Congress has demonstrated they have no interest other then theirs and the ones from big pocket lobbyists.

Now, let the flames begin

Many choose to go. Having lived in Mexico for four years i know first hand that many that make the leap aren't persecuted or that hard up either. Many just don't want to work in their home countries (piss poor pay) or have little education. Some are criminals. It is a complex issue; however granting rights or benefits to those that come illegally over those that do the right thing is mind-boggling. Granting amnesty is a slap in the face to everyone who has ever had or will have a petition to enter the United States on a legal basis.

There's always the option of trying to improve one's own country rather than entering another's country illegally.

So many slaps in the face to those of us that followed the laws in place. :crying:

We are doing it the RIGHT WAY, we are following the law. Instead of telling out fiance, brothers, sisters etc hey catch a plane use a B2 visa or H1B or student visa and commit fraud and dont leave. WE are filing papers, gathering evidence, paying a ####### load of money, flying back and forth to be with with our loved ones the LEGAL way. Instead illegals cross the border, of their own free will knowing they breaking the law and taken to a building to be processed by the same TSC,CSC etc which is holding up the legal process of those LIKE US. Then to deport them you have to contact their country and request that they take back their own people, i mean really. USA needs to take care of there OWN, let others countries take care of theirs. just saying.

Vore's or Money

What do you have to offer??

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
