London - 'issued' to visa in hand

Hi all

Just interested in how long between 'issued' status and receiving notification that the courier has picked it up with a tracking number?

And

How long between getting your tracking number and going to physically pick up your visa?

10.16.14 : I-485 AOS & I-765 EAD mailed

10.20.14 : Packet received

11.06.14 : NOA email and text msg for AOS & EAD

11.10.14 : NOA hard copy

11.17.14 : Biometrics letter received

11.24.14 : Biometrics appointment

11.26.14 : RFE email for AOS

12.01.14 : RFE hard copy

12.02.14 : RFE sent

12.30.14 : EAD in production

01.07.15 : EAD mailed

01.08.15 : EAD received!!

You can see my timeline below to how long mine took to get to me after the interview.

I had it home delivered but it should be the same time frame to get to where you're picking it up.

But you never know with postal delays.

After having our interview on the 21st August, we have only just been issued the visa. It showed that we were still 'Ready' for interview up until almost 2 weeks after interview. It finally changed to non immigrant AP yesterday and then 'issued' today. I think we had some bad timing with an interview at the end of the week and 2 consecutive bank holiday weekends... Almost there :)

You will have it before you know it!

It's the best feeling in the world opening your passport to see that all this hard work is literally for a piece of paper stuck in there.

You will have it before you know it!

It's the best feeling in the world opening your passport to see that all this hard work is literally for a piece of paper stuck in there.

We can't wait :D So much so that we have a flight booked for Tuesday morning. Looks like we are going to have to change. Lesson learnt... Wait until visa in hand until booking a flight :)
