Hello guys,

I sent an expedite request due to error to NVC on Tuesday last week, and I have not received any answer from them yet. Is this normal? Does anyone here knows what the time frame for them to respond is? And last, when checking if I have gotten the IV fee bill, Do I use the same invoice number that I got when they sent me the AOS bill? I keep checking and still not available to be paid, but I am wondering now if I am getting a different invoice for that....

Only thing you can do about the expedite is call and keep calling. DR is very very long process to approve a expedite. I have seen it done in 2 to 4 months. It was better to just leave alone.

You only get one case# and one IIN. When did you send in your DS-261?

We also sent a expedite request on Aug. 25 and got a response yesterday saying we needed two foreign numbers but that the request was under review. And today I got an email saying they had updated the case with the two numbers. I don't know if that's good or if everyone gets that?

Yes, I filed those. One on behalf of my husband, and the other on behalf of my step-daughter. That was late on July. A week after reading a post here, I went to check on it, and by doing that I re-summit the forms again. All said and done, the first week of August is what I am counting on for the famous 60 days review. Everyday I check for the IV fee bill on the ceac.state.gov and enter my case#, Invoice# and everyday it shows me that it is not ready to be paid yet. Which can only mean that DS-261 still under review. This wait is killing and it is all their fault. Everyone else that have the same timeline that I have, already have their loved ones here. I
