Thanks for the suggestions.

Think I'm going to the Hilton Garden Inn Montreal Centre-Ville (friend recommended it) since I'm a HHH member so the little perks makes in worth it.

I'm driving from Toronto don't need to worry too much on transportation. Living in the city I'm used to the price of parking. Now if anyone know a nice place for dinner =) I'm most likely travelling solo so why not spoil myself!

Good luck to all interviewing!

I stayed at Le Square Phillips Hotel. Right around the corner from the consulate, walking distance. Our interview was in January so it was bitter cold... so being able to walk was the most important thing.

Two of my three children moved to the USA with me so they also had to go to the interview. We ended up making a little mini-vacay out of it and took my oldest daughter and my Aunt for the trip. The hotel was a wee bit more expensive than some of the others, but totally worth it.

I wrote a full review of the hotel with pics and video. It can be found here:

Good luck to all with interviews. :luv:

I just went there! Stayed from Thursday 8/28 to Sunday 8/31 on Hilton points. Room is very basic but it has a mini fridge and a microwave. The walk to the consulate from the hotel is so easy, you just go down Bleury St, make a right on Rene Levesque W, then a right on St. Alexandre and it's the big grey building to your right (which you can see from Rene Levesque W, it is on the corner). I didn't eat any of the hotel food so I can't say anything about that but it was a great place to stay. Parking is expensive but it was nice not to worry about my car getting towed or whatever, the spaces are big but the garage is narrow, it's the same door to get in/get out so you have to be aware of cars trying to come out because only 1 car can fit.
