Can I apply or a Nexus card?

Hello,

I have searched through the forums and found some information but it was not completely the same situation so I thought I would ask.

I am going to be sending in my I-29f at the end of the month. I have been meaning to apply for a Nexus card for sometime now but am only just getting around to it. I know that these are two separate things but I wanted to make sure applying for the nexus card at the same time as the K-1 wouldn't in any way affect the visa process.

Getting the nexus card would make it much more convenient to travel back and forth.

Thanks for the answer and sorry if it is a silly question! I have suddenly become paranoid about screwing something up lol

You are right. They are separate processes and one will not affect the other.

You are also right that Nexus will help with travel!
