How can this be? Obama has no plan! This can't be so! Airstrikes are only for the strong leaders!

A U.S. airstrike may have killed a top ISIS figure in Iraq, but the White House has not yet confirmed his death.

The Iraqi defense ministry said a U.S. bombing raid near Mosul killed Abu Hajar al-Sufi, one of ISIS commander Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's top lieutenants, reports CBS News correspondent Major Garrett.

The White House confirmed the air raid, but deputy national security advisor Ben Rhodes, brother of CBS News president David Rhodes, said the U.S. is still investigating reports of al-Sufi's death.

Because Obama didn't ride the bomb in and personally kill this person it doesn't count. If he did ride said bomb, he's a murderer. Checkmate.

Yes, the body count.

As a child growing up during the Vietnam War, we got the VC body count every day on TV during dinner. More recently, it has been a parade of #2 Al Qaeda, #3 Al Qaeda in Iraq, #2 in Yemen, and oh Boy ISIS. Worse than Al Qaeda or Viet Cong. Please God, give us this day our daily body count, and forgive us for our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

We aren't at war. That's the last thing we want, and Obama assured us we weren't going to do that at the very time he was announcing the order for airstrikes. It's bizarre as a non-partisan watching these two political parties and their groupies argue with each other. Talking points wars where we frame the national discourse as how the republicans are lying vs. how the democrats are lying about what we see right in front of our noses.

I have eyes in my head and I see pretty clearly we are bombing on behalf of our stooge in Iraq so that we can maintain control over Baghdad and what is left of the "nation". It's been broken into pieces and we can't let all our swimming pools and fast food joints in the Green Zone fall into the hands of ISIS. Talk about a national humiliation.
