Congratulations on being so close to the interview! Good luck, I'm sure it will all go very well InshAllah.

If you'd like to know what sort of questions they ask (exactly), then go to this link and read all the reviews.

It helps because people have been very thorough in writing down every question they were asked etc. So it does help. Plus it's country specific.

My interview is on the 18th of this month and I picked my appointment personally from shaheed complex karachi and I guess I'll have to pick my passport after visa issuance from the same place.

Hey I have heard that Islamabad embassy is tough usually or maybe more for male candidates and have long APs, should I be worried or expect an AP?

Hey I have heard that Islamabad embassy is tough usually or maybe more for male candidates and have long APs, should I be worried or expect an AP?

You know what, that is a tough one to answer.

I have seen so many people have such different experiences, even just on this site.

I have seen a bunch of people recently get approved without AP, in cases where the applicant was male.

And on the other hand you'll find so many who have just been waiting in AP for months.

I am no expert on how the embassy judges these cases, but I think maybe the evidence of relationship is an important factor. It seems that people who have met multiple times prior to getting engaged, and have pictures of them just hanging out, are in a better position.

Personally, in my own case, the photographs were enough. He didn't even ask to see any of the call or text logs I had brought, nor the affidavit letters from my old roommate and friends who had written to verify the relationship. Didn't even ask about the engagement or ring! (Which is a relief as we never had an engagement event, or even met in person after he proposed. So no ring or pictures or any such proof of that part)

So I would recommend gathering as much solid evidence as possible. Don't give them any reason to wonder about the authenticity of your relationship.

Do the pictures, the call logs, message logs, letters from friends/family. Just in case. Build a strong case.

Good luck! I hope you have a great interview and return to us with good news soon.
