But I said my husband does.

So my question is : is this problem will be issue for me to deny or delay my citizineship?

if you are filing TAX jointly, why didnt you couple figure out together to pay off the debt ? only if you have no income !!!

is it the family commitment in the marriage  or something ?

joint filing means joint responsibility and equal right in TAX .

your family will earn more benefit from joint filing after your marriage. 

even your husband owes the tax debt before your marriage,  you can't say, No way, i wouldn't pay for your tax debt ...
