hi everyone:

We wrote the Explanation of My Current Individual Income like this:

'Dear Sir/Madam:

My current annual income includes the followings:

Taxable interest income:$4,148

Tax-exempt interest: $62,346;

Taxable pension:$6,202

Total social security benefit:$8,183.

So my current annual income is :$80,879. Please find these numbers from my IRS transcript!'

Is that ok? Taxable interest income can also be counted in the current income?

Thanks in advance!

Looks OK. And few comments...

1) I would specifically clarify the income as "monthly" or "annual" in the letter.

2) Yes, taxable interest paid also becomes the income.

3) To make it easier and clear for them,

You might also want to point out specific sources of those incomes

and provide evidence on balance and how long they will be paid into the future.

4) Also, if $62,346 is paid annually as tax-exempt, even at 3% interest, that would be

more than $2,000,000 in asset balance. Nice money, but make sure this is correct.

5) You are referring to the Tax Transcript, so I assume you are attaching it with your letter?

5) yes, we will attach the IRS tax transcript

4) $62,346 is the number from the tax transcript, so it should be right

and we will try to do what you said in 1) and 3)

Regarding the 2014 income, my husband said, its hard to get the annual income amount for now, cause he was pulled out for a project up north and expected to be stationed there again after a month break which makes his pay higher. Depending on the job location and number of days he will stay, his pay will vary.

Is NVC really particular of the amount you will mention for the 2014 income? But whichever job he will be assigned, he is still above poverty line.

He is planning to include paystubs along with the 3 years 1040 and W-2s, is recent 3 months paystub good enough or it should really be 6 months.

thanks in advance :):):)

I hope you mean the entire tax return which includes W2s and any schedules etc.. not just the 1040.
