hi guys... really needs some advice and opinion...... i sent my AOS package last august 19, 2014.. we track it and it say the chicago recieve already our package.... i ddnt recieve any txt/mail from USCI... and my medical papers is already xpired last August 31... so do im okey, i mean do my papers/AOS OK?????

Did you include a G-1145 on your petition? It depends on the adjudicator if he will issue an RFE for the expired medical or he just accepts it. If he issues an RFE, you would have to get another medical again.

g-1145 is the cover letter, right? so i did it...

No, G-1145 isn't the cover letter. Cover letter is where you wrote down everything included in the AOS package, G-1145 is the form you fill out asking them to notify you when they receive your documents.

Do you remember if this is included in what you sent? http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/g-1145.pdf

Well, if you are sure you sent it to the correct address, they have 30 days to respond to it. You can call USCIS to ask but experience told me they are basically useless to talk to.

Did you try checking with your bank if they cashed your check yet?

You may get an RFE for a new medical later anyway. You do not need a new medical if you file for AOS within a year of your K-1 medical, but if the medical date goes over a year before you are approved, they may ask for a new one. Just be aware of that.
