Hey everyone. Just found out through nvc my

K1 interview is scheduled for October 1st. Embassy did not let me know anything yet. I just do happened to call nvc and there it was. Now with only three weeks to go everything has to be done. Anyone have link how to request packet 4 by email since fiancé has not received at home? Also how much are fees for medical and vaccines? Also what is fee at banco popular and are there two separate payments? Where can you go for police report. Does it have to be in santo Domingo or any police department in Dominican republic is ok? Thanks everyone. Really excited now but don't have much time to get everything done so please any help would be appreciated. P.S. any suggestions on hotels near new embassy? Thanks

All of that info is on the Embassy Website...under visas. You're gonna need to act quickly! Chances are, your fiance may not get it all done before the interview. I have to wonder, though, K1 visas are usually set up by the applicant...not the embassy...though, it's possible that some embassies operate differently. Regardless...there is a LOT to do...with very little time. You really need to do some intense research to find out what is required. Police reports can take time...depends if you lived/worked in a foreign country for 6 months or more from the time you were 16.

If you don't have everything completed by the time of your interview, you'll get a 221g requiring completion of certain documents. You will have to provide whatever docs are required before a visa is issued.

Go to your embassy webste and look up requirements for K1 visa processing. It's all there!

Good luck!

Hello Congrats....here is the link of the police report http://www.gob.do/Servicios/Detalles/917e8d33-fbb6-e011-9658-001d092f0b84 about the vaccines and medical exam it depends on age of the person but tell her or him to call to consultorio de visas and ask how much is it, someone here told me to get all the papers ready ont the consulate website is the list of papers needed for the interview, and try to send an email to the emabssy and ask them to send u the packet 4 via email i read here some people never get packet 4, cuz the mail service in Dr sucks.

Good luck,

Here is the email. SantoDomingoVisas@state.gov

I emailed them last night and received my packet a few minutes ago. They usually respond in a day or two. Glad you got your interview.
