This is a perfect example of "Red Team vs. Blue Team" inane, made-up political issue. Re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Not being able to see iceburgs because of this stupid bickering.

The question is why invade Libya on behalf of muslim terrorists, destroy their government and quite literally turn the place over to Al Qaeda linked terrorists, ones imprisoned in Guantanamo, ones we had Egypt or other countries torture, etc. Greatest concentration of suicide bombers against the U.S. - Benghazi. So we bomb Qadaffi on behalf of these Benghazi rebels, put our embassy there, then use it to extend our middle east wars into Syria. By funneling weapons to them through there.

What could go wrong? See, both parties were fully on board with another Iraq adventure. Yeah - Regime change! Clinton was pressed on the Al Qaeda connections we were giving arms to, and she played dumb. But they really are this stupidly arrogant. Hubris of unbelievable scale in both democrats and republicans. Fight about whether security was heavy enough in our Al Qaeda gun-running office. Not whether we should be doing that in the first place.

I don't like "directions" in political labeling like right, left, middle because they conceal differences in thinking that really can't be put on a directional scale.

Every day the media tells us what to think about, and the "two sides": One side is the banking-military-industrial-security complex that calls itself "democrat". The other side is the same banking-military-industrial-security complex calling itself "republican".

There isn't a "middle" to that.

If for one election cycle we took abortion, prayer in school, race, and affirmative action, off the table, and voted for what was good for all of us and the future.
