F2a can have derivatives during the process meaning, you can bring your kid with you. Once your petition reaches Nvc, there's a form that you will need to fill up online and it will ask if you have a son and if you would want to bring him with you. Your petitioner will then need to pay two for the affidavit of support fee and two for the immigration visa fee. God bless and good luck

Hi, when your case is at the NVC you would send a copy of the child's BC to the NVC requesting that he be added to your case. When I did this for my cousin, we just sent an email and included the BC as an attachment, there was no form to fill out. Also since he will be a beneficiary of your case and not as a separate case, there is only one AOS fee to pay, not two. The visa fees both of you will have to pay however.


Also, it is crucial that you remain unmarried until you become an LPR, since many people aren't aware of this.

What the other posters said is correct. Parents of USC's are not allowed to bring a spouse and/or minor children. However, she can petition for them as soon as she enters the US. No need to wait for her GC, her visa stamp at entry would suffice to petition her children and then this situation would apply.
