No problem :) :)

I know me too!!!!! I keep saying it like 3 times a day hahah. I even told my family at the beginning " it may take even 8 months...6....everybody wait to come visit until I can drive... Don't stress me asking...." Lol, everytime I get a letter or the biometrics are done already I just can't believe it! But I guess the interview letter can take some time now.

I even told my husband if I get my EAD, SSN I'm allowed to work and drive I don't care if the GC takes more or less.

I just want to be able to do things by myself again haha.

But definitely exciting how things are going for us September fillers!!!!! I think we got a good month ;)

I know I was thinking the same thing. I told my family and friends the same thing. :-) September is a great month it seems. Everything falls into Place for a reason. Me too!! I wanty EAD and SSN just so I can work and all that. Lol. I won't feel like a tourist anymore lol

Hi guys! I would like to post here, since we mailed our files this month, too, and also because I do not see anyone coming from Juneau, Alaska post anything, so I am going to! For future reference of those who will be applying from here, too!

We sent out I-485, I-130, I-765, and I-864 last September 12, 2014, and it arrived at the Chicago lockbox on September 16. I just received NOAs for I-485, I-30, and I-765 yesterday, September 29, 2014. I guess that happens when you live in a place as far as Alaska!

I've got some good news guys :D We received our NOA1 through email this morning! Our package was delivered to USCIS last Wednesday 9/24 and I also checked all 4 cases on USCIS.gov and they are all in initial review except i485 (Application to adjust status) which is still in acceptance. Chiming in from the August filers :) If you mean that everything was fine in regards to filing, etc, then yes it seems like you are fine. They will reject your application during the acceptance stage if anything was wrong with your filing. However, if you were asking if everything is fine in regards to the documents you submitted, then at this point there is no telling. The initial review is when they check if you have all the documents they are looking for and it is the step where you will typically receive an RFE if they want to see more evidence/if you did not submit a required document.

But in saying all this, they can probably still do whatever they want whenever they want. From what I've seen here on VJ, you cannot always trust the online status. Some people already have their green card, but their status never changed from acceptance.

Sorry I somewhat went of on a tangent here. Just thought I would share what I've seen/what I know. Hope everything goes well for you!

You know what? The very very good thing is that even though the emails came today, my online status says that my applications were accepted on the 25th of September. So even though the emails were late, that doesn't mean that your application was not processed by USCIS so i'm sure everything is fine with your application too. I will post an update here once I receive any letters etc.

That sounds fine. I mean as long as they have processed my applications and put them in the system I think we are good :) Worst case scenario they will send RFEs etc but I am more than happy to provide them with information knowing that this does not delay my employment card processing. I really need to start working as soon as possible to support my wife who is the only one working at the moment. If I get my employment card I won't mind at all waiting for the green card processing even if it takes a long time.

I'm with you on that. I think that is what is driving people crazy--the long wait without really having much to do (even though people keep themselves busy, it's not the same as when you have a job where you have to stay focused that makes the time go by faster). I am fortunate to be working right now (EAD based on F1 OPT). If it weren't for that, I would have gone insane waiting! I hope you get your employment card approved quickly!

I've got some good news guys :D We received our NOA1 through email this morning! Our package was delivered to USCIS last Wednesday 9/24 and I also checked all 4 cases on USCIS.gov and they are all in initial review except i485 (Application to adjust status) which is still in acceptance. I am guessing initial review means the applications were checked for completion and they are fine right?

Congrats!!!!! :)

all my cases still look exactly like yours do!
