Just opened the mail and the biometrics letter was there!!!! I can't believe how fast everything is going. The appointment is for October 7 but we are going to to an early walk-in Monday!!! :) I'm so excited!!

Another user did one this week here in Atlanta and they let her do it so we will try and let you know there is a list of successful offices for walk-ins here in the forum and Atlanta is a really good one!

Awesome news guys! Received email conformation at 1:46am today!!!! I'm so excited! They actually cashed our checks today as well! So here we go! Good luck to everyone else!

Just got confirmation of my acceptance from USCIS. Awesome!! Now to wait for the one in the mail.

Hi September filers, I filed earlier this month and will be joining this forum.

@ minn6969 I got the texts/emails 17 days after I mailed my package and got the letters 4 days after that. Most people get theirs within 7-10 days. No need to worry yet.

Ours was delivered last Wednesday.. I was starting to panic but seeing that you haven't got your NOA1 yet I kinda feel better.. maybe their taking a bit longer this time around :/

Today I got my NOA in the mail. Now I am just waiting for the Biometics Appointment in the mail.

This morning we went to the office for the biometrics ( early walk in, appointment was for October 7 )

We were there at 9am and there was like 4 people only. The security man at the door was very very nice asked for my letter and documentation, my husband said we came for a walk in and he said it was totally fine there wasn't people today.

I had to file a paper where you put your name...other names you have used.... Weight, race, hair, eyes color....

Then you wait with your paper and letter in hand, they give you a number and you wait again until they call you. I recommend if you want to do an early walk in to go early because while I was there waiting TONS of people came they would even make them wait outside and let them inside in little groups.

The woman asked me why my last name was different in the form from my name in my passport and I said because I changed it when I got married so I'm using my new last name for all the forms and she said ok ok.

She took took finger prints of each finger, picture and ready to go!

Everybody was very nice and friendly.

So now waiting for EAD and AP I guess!

Haha I think we both were writing at the same time. While I was explaining about it you asked

I had to wait almost nothing, there were literally 4 people when we arrived and some where doing other things.

There were 3 ladies taking the finger prints I only waited for 1 to finish and they called me. All the chairs were empty but the room is huge and there are tons of chairs so I'm sure it gets full.........

In less than 1 hours we were in and out.

Don't bring your purse, phones, water, food...... Just car key , biometrics letter and ID/passport.

While I was sitting there filling my paper I could hear the security man yelling "NO FOOD, YOU GO BACK NO WATER!" And it was getting crowdy outside.

I hope you get your letter soon!!!! Im sure if you go early there won't be any problem they are really nice. The security man even remembered my name from when he looked at my passport and called me by my name to give him the pen and board back

I know me too!!!!! I keep saying it like 3 times a day hahah. I even told my family at the beginning " it may take even 8 months...6....everybody wait to come visit until I can drive... Don't stress me asking...." Lol, everytime I get a letter or the biometrics are done already I just can't believe it! But I guess the interview letter can take some time now.

I even told my husband if I get my EAD, SSN I'm allowed to work and drive I don't care if the GC takes more or less.

I just want to be able to do things by myself again haha.

But definitely exciting how things are going for us September fillers!!!!! I think we got a good month
