Hey guys I have a question. I got a cancellation email an then received an interview notice in the mail. Then after that I received my cancellation notice. I was planning on going to the interview anyway because I hadn't received any correspondence from USCIS but then yesterday I received my rescheduled date for February 24. My question is should I still go to the interview to have them tell me in person since I received the rescheduled date or just don't even bother???

Let me know what you guys think!

I would go for sure. If they tell you to go home. Go home. But who knows they may still do the interview. But at least you know. The immigration process can be annoying.

It's better to be safe then sorry.

Got my welcome letter a couple of days ago! I'm officially a permanent resident. My green card has been mailed out as of today! So happy!

I mailed out my app on September 22nd and they mailed out my green card on January 22nd. Awesome.

I know with me I Got one for each application with a MSC # so you should get 4. And CONGRATS!!! you should be getting yours any day now. They sent mine out October 4th and I only got it today.

You don't need to go, you will only be turned back. A few people here on VJ had the same experience and were turned back on the cancelled interview date. Someone received a phone call canceling his interview and was concerned it might be false. He went in and was still turned back. If the uscis office is 5 or 10 mins away from your home and your spouse is available then you can go just assure yourself. I wouldn't bother.

Hii, if you already got a new interview date I wouldn't go to the old date. They won't have your papers ready to do the interview. if you didn't have a new date I would doubt about what happened and maybe go and ask.... But now you know for when it has been rescheduled and it will appear in their computers too :)

Just received our interview confirmation letter.. Our interview is on 8:15am .. isn't that like crazy early for USCIS? What time do they go to work? 7? shish :S

anyone here filed their application to NSC? Currently here's how mine progressed so far:

9/2 - application docs sent (i485, AP, EAD)

9/28 - Received fingerprint sched

10/15 - Fingerprint done.

11/10 - Received Combo Card (EAD and AP)

No updates since then. When i check the status of my i485 online, it just says "fingerprint fee received on September 9". :(

Yesterday my EAD/AP combo card arrived, and this morning I received the email/text for my scheduled interview on March 11. I'm pleasantly surprised, didn't think I would have my interview for another few months.

Hello guys,

After almost 6 months today I got the EAD status change to card production,

However my I-485 is still under reviewing my RFE.

My question is can the card come with the I-485 in that status or has to be testing and interview?

@ the batman the EAD card will come in the mail within 5-10 days and it is independent of the i485.

Hopefully you will get an update on the i485 soon.

I had my interview this morning and despite a lukewarm respoponse from our immigration officer, we were approved 2 hrs later. Yippee
